OMG Professor ! I never got the notification for this important video :( but probably because I was busy and didnt notice. On the bright side however, I received an acceptance from the Journal of Marketing Management (ABDC: A) . How I wish you had made this video when I was in the initial years of the PhD program !! Professor could you please continue making videos on such topics? If possible, could you PLEASE make a more detailed video on what exactly is it that reviewers/editors look for in a paper? or say, something even more basic, the structure of a scientific paper? this would be of immense help to students from schools which do not emphasize research enough some more video ideas that you may want to explore - how academic collaborations work, how to network in conferences, job offers at academic conferences, negotiating salary, working for lower v/s higher tier schools, managing research, teaching, service and life, most importantly - how teaching in US schools is different from Indian schools, also - what is meant by a 2/2 or a 3/3 load? does it mean 3 independent courses or can it be 3 sections of the same course Regards, Sudeep

If I publish paper collaboratively with my colleagues as in third or last author in the top journal, does this count for my tenure? I am asking this because if that’s the case, all the authors who are involved in the paper can present this paper for their tenure process.

depends on the university. Some universities care that you should be the first author while others may not so much. It could be a problem if you are not the lead author in any paper at all.
