How Are We Going to Make the Flight/Car/Ferry to BORACAY??!

We are on our way to Boracay! We realized on these travels how much luggage we really have. We woke up early to start our journey and to fly to Boracay on Cebu Pacific. This was the smallest plane we have flown on yet. We were intrigued by the propellers on the plane. It was fun to fly over some beautiful coral and it was fun to see a bunch of islands as we came near Boracay. It was raining and was windy, so as we were landing our plane tilted to the side and was swaying from side to side. We were scared we would hit a wing on the ground. We were grateful when we safely landed.
The Boracay airport was the smallest we have ever seen. They delivered our many bags right through the windows. We loaded all our bags filling the van that took us to the ferry. We had to unload all of our bags from the van and then put them on the ferry, then repeated the process as we took all our bags off the ferry and put them in the van. By the time we got to our hotel (Nirvana Beach Resort), we were exhausted and decided that we need to pack lighter! We were happy to find our resort was nice and spacious and that it will be perfect for our family while we adventure in Boracay. It was quite an adventure, especially with our many bags!

Can’t wait to watch your adventure in Boracay. It’s amazing to see how varied the kids personalities are as in any other family. Sam is a patient and responsible big brother. Benny is adventurous and corky. Jake is pretty quiet, but smart and artistic. JoeJoe is carefree, and yet very caring. Gracie is the real princess - the apple of everybody’s eye. All of them being so good looking is just icing on the cake. Mom and dad are the ideal parents. The proof is in the pudding - the kids’ character and behavior. I haven’t seen kids as well-behaved, polite and respectful as your children are. They’re truly such pride and joy!

Whats good thing here in the Philippines is that we experience riding on a jet engine aircraft and a prop aircraft. Many airline companies still using prop aircraft for Regional travel.We also ride a cessna 172 for a 15 minutes travel on aircraft. That Atr 42 aircraft uve been riding thats a nice aircraft its a known aircraft around the world.

Cahews - found in most grocery stores, but in airports... only by chance. Small prop plane - That's an ATR 72 or that's one of the best prop plane on the planet and usually that's used for smaller airports like Siargao, Boracay or Baguio.

you can take 2 Stateroom accomodation of 2Go vessels from caticlan to manila if you have a lot of luggage because its expensive via plane.

The slow prop video is because the frame capture rate of the camera isn't fast enough to match the rate the propeller changes positions every second. So it's capturing it with several blade positions missing between frames.

The left engine is off as part of the push back procedure to minimize fuel consumption.. The propellers are in a feathered position. Once it is ready for taxi, prop will be adjusted to auto setting for take off.

Cebu Pacific is still the best-known, best-choice, most preferred, and most-loved airline in the Philippines. We wouldn't be able to fly that often if not for Cebu Pacific. ❤ These are very helpful things to do that I have to keep in mind in order not to miss my flight: -Account for Busier Travel Times. -Know and understand the check-in and boarding procedures. -Check-In Ahead of Time. -Get to the Airport Early (3 or 4 hrs before your flight for domestic and 5 or 6 hrs before your international flight). -Give Yourself Enough Time Between Flights. -Have the Correct Documents Ready. And remember check the airline's policies before booking, like baggage, meals, inflight entertainment, seating, flight changes, cancellations, and more. Some arrogant, ignorant and entitled passengers miss these things and end up blaming the airline.

Take commercial Philippine Airlines planes (several names) - I google it and it is one of the safest plane in the world - the last major crash was in Benguet it 1989 w/ 50 fatalities due to poor visibility - almost 34 years ago - the rest are all minor incidents - since the 1960's - also learned that their aircraft maintenance technicians are almost all engineers acting as technicians - so when I go there I'll take Phil airlines planes all the time -

Did you know that Cebu Pacific changed the air travel in the Philippines, and because of Cebu Pacific all Filipinos (Juan) have a chance to fly. Back then, Ferries were cheaper, the most practical and economical option to travel inter-island. And it was also the period when thousands and thousands of Filipinos who could not afford to travel by air with PAL died every year in sea tragedies. And one of the worst sea tragedies was on December 20, 1987, the MV Doña Paz, a passenger ferry bound for Manila, collided with an oil tanker carrying 9,000 barrels of combustible petroleum products, sinking the ferry and resulting in more than 4,300 fatalities and only 24 survivors in one of the world's deadliest maritime disasters in history, killing more people than the Titanic disaster that killed more than 1,500 people. My parents, uncles and aunties told me that they couldn't afford to fly back then, they couldn't afford to travel by air when Philippines Airlines (PAL) dominated the market during the 1970s and 1980s. As it was the sole domestic airline, Philippine Airlines (PAL) was virtually monopolizing the country's aviation industry. 1974 - PAL continues to dominate the industry by having the monopoly on domestic travels. Air travel was a luxury. Flying was very expensive, PAL's ticket from Cebu to Manila was more or less 6K and during 70's, 80's and 90's it was too much, the PAL base airfare in 1980's or 1990's cost 6K or 20K in today's peso. It was very horrible; it was very awful; they could not afford the air fare; it was ridiculously expensive. Flying during those days was a luxury, and the flight attendants were unfriendly and unapproachable; they thought too highly of themselves, being overweening and overbearing, especially to the Overseas Filipino Workers. Fortunately, when Cebu Pacific started flying, everything changed. Air travel became very accessible, available, friendly, fun, and affordable, and all Filipinos can now fly to their favorite domestic and international destinations with high quality and friendly service at an affordable price. We're very proud and very thankful to Cebu Pacific. We love Cebu Pacific. Cebu's flag carrier. Cebu Pacific is the largest and the leading Airline in the Philippines.
