Thanks Charlie, it was my pleasure. The videos out there just didn't answer all the questions, such as why are the Vets buried here, and why so many names on the wall? After doing a bit of local research it became pretty clear. It was tough for my wife to see the names of some her Philippine family still unaccounted for.

Wow I never knew about this place. It says a total of 17,206 graves, the largest number of graves of any cemetery for U.S. personnel killed during World War II and holds war dead from the Philippines and other allied nations. Many of the personnel were killed in New Guinea, or during the Battle of the Philippines (1941-42) or the Allied recapture of the islands.

Its definitely worth checking out and reminding our American and Philippine kids, that these World War I and II service members really did save the world!

The United States of America should give a one time FREE TRIP FOR THE U.S. SOLDIERS families who was BURIED IN THE PHILIPPINES and pay tribute to the families who died in the campaign. America has over 800 billions dollar budget set aside for military budget year after year. What da hell is a few millions for these families who sacrifices. JUST A DROP IN A BUCKET. 😢
