So glad you're back! I'd love to see videos highlighting your new season of life. I'm so sorry for your loss, my MIL died young miss her so much. I think it's an interesting juxtaposition to be with the grandkids when she passed. My daughter went back to KS for the first time since her great grandma died, to see her new niece and was really hard for her. But life changes.... it made me think of the final scene in Steel Magnolias.... life goes on. Looking forward to seeing you again! Would love a review of your kitchen reno, what worked, what didn't work at planned, any changes etc.

I took early retirement last year ~ I never thought about retiring but the Lord knew My husband has a lot of health issues/disabled and now I’m private duty nurse for him. Thankful for this time. I live 5 miles from my oldest daughter and we are very much a part of our 4 granddaughters 😄. I would love anything you would share coz we are in a new chapter in our lives and new ideas and tips would be great 😊

You are such a busy and family oriented person. Tell Kate 'Hi' and Congratulations for baby and her marriage! As far as makeup, I have been wearing the products I have had. I did recently purchased a couple of things from Target: Revolution's Disney Lion King eye shadow palette, and a lipstick(not in the collection). I do not wear foundation....but eye shadow is my favorite, even sometimes around the house, just because, lol! Again Glad to SEE you, you look Great!

I’m so glad to see a video from you! I’ve missed them. I’m up for whatever you want to make, but if you would enjoy a closet clean out/style change up video I would watch that. I’m work from home 100% now and honestly my “style” is just comfort, which I’m okay with. I found the pandemic changed my relationship with makeup hugely. I don’t wear it around the house at all, and am just now dipping my toes in again a bit. I’ve just needed simplicity and comfort the last few years.

I'd love to hear more about your change from working to not working, what you're wearing, what you're getting rid of from your closet and what you feel you need to go with your new lifestyle. I'm getting ready to retire when the school year ends and I think I'll be busy enough taking care of my 95 year old mom, her house and ours, her bills and ours, her dr appts and ours etc. etc. My inclination towards jeans and t-shirts or even worse, sweats, scares me. I don't want to be frumpy all the time just cause I'm at home. I would love to hear some ideas on plus size, casual wardrobe for being home, running errands etc., but still looking and feeing "put together". I'm 59 and I feel like I've had this self imposed uniform of nicer jeans, colored jeans and patterned knit tops for so many years. I think other types of clothes would certainly be more flattering but I don't even know where to start. Sounds crazy I know but I'm not a shopper and have only worn jeans for so long.... I think you have similar tastes to mine as well.

Glad to see you back! I would be interested in seeing what you got at the Sephora sale. I go into the office about 3 days a week so still do use makeup, but even when I was working 100% from home I usually played with lipsticks, lip glosses, or balms and sometimes experimented with eye looks (just for fun) that I normally wouldn't do. The only change I've really had in the last year is that I had cataract surgery myself, just like your dad! Less than a week out from getting my second eye done and trying to figure out what combination of readers and distance glasses I need. It's kind of annoying even though I'm seeing better overall!
