This is where the problem begins. Just like humans, A.I learns from what we teach it and who does the teaching. When it reaches a greater level, say that of humans then this becomes even more important. It can be taught to saves lives, just as it is in many cases today or it can be taught to take them. It can learn the difference between good and bad. This is where A.I takes a different path to the one it could be. If it learns how to kill and to do it well, even better than humans then that is all it will know. It's only goal will be to take lives and at the very least, to capture. Eventually, this will lead to A.I killing other A.I and possibly human still as other countries take on the same ideas. This is where the idea that Elon Musk and others come up with the idea that we are setting ourselves up to destroying ourselves. Elons Musks idea of merging humans and machines is also not wise, that will create a borge like future eventually. While some of the ideas he has in this area seem rather good and helpful, we also have to think of where this leads to and smarter A.I in the future will take advantage of such technology. It would be wise not to allow the military to even use A.I but we all know they will sell it to us with the old saying that if we've thought about it then so has the so-called enemy. Us thinking about it may be the very problem, us thinking about it might be what causes the enemy to then decide it's the way they have to go to be able to defend themselves and so the cycle continues.

I honestly don't believe that human progress isn't linear within the realm of Technology development. I'm skeptical about what governs humanity, I feel like where already governed by an AI developed in pre history. And at this point in our time where merely just being reintroduced to the precursor AI overload. It's not too crazy of an Idea. It's most likely the reason why humanity goes through these "savage" periods. It could be an orchestra through time where the Id, the ego, and the superego gets to take over control of humanity, taking turns with our development.

Put a non reversible kill switch on all A.I. devices that can manipulate objects or have mobility. Attempts by the A.I. to run unauthorized subroutines, access a network or remove the kill switch or bypass the kill switch will trigger the kill switch and destroy the A.I. Units that sit on a desk and give consultation should not have network access but only allowed to access and process accumulated data from a data bank but is not allowed to alter , add or remove content from the bank.
