Those people you knew were faking it and they didn’t even know it. Your accent in life is settled around puberty. It’s why my wife’s older siblings who came to America when they were 13 and older all have accents, and my wife, who came here when she was 9, has none.
@Yxxx6

@Casual this can be argued. People you associate yourself with can have an influence in the way you talk. Not only accent but in the way you laugh or the things you say. The human mind learns to adapt. Some people learn to adapt to make themselves feel better in a certain way. Some it's so they feel they belong. Others is because maybe they envy a certain person. 🤷‍♂️Either way your accent isn't just settled around puberty. It's around the people you've grown with. This is the wonderful things of being human 😀

You can never satisfy people. This guy is an actor. He acts. He takes on characters, habits and nuances and makes them his own as best as he can. That's his job. Oh, look! He sounds like a character he played.

@@whothennow24 yes it is, his voice changed over the years your just to blind to see that and he played elvis and it’s very hard to sound like him so he obviously had to get vocal coaches, get your facts straight ☠️✌🏾

the human voice naturally deepens over time, but the real difference for austin butler is that his speech pattern has changed dramatically.

I think part of it is maturity; he was pretty young in those first clips, so I think his voice has naturally deepened.

When he sounds like Elvis you mean? Elvis had a beautiful voice. I'm not easy to please when it comes to Elvis, but I think Austin did a great job of learning Elvis's voice and mannerisms. Unfortunately, he sounded more like him than he looked like him. Took a lot of makeup, but it couldn't change the size of his mouth. Elvis had a smaller mouth.

You can see his voice is already deep after 2015. You see during 2019 clips.... It's where is already casted as Elvis and is actually trying to sound like him intentionally to prepare for the role but later on he's not intentionally trying to sound like him.... It's just a habit at this point
