Information if anybody is genuinely curious: Most facilities don't use these anymore. The invention is called a Pigg-O-Stat and it really does get the perfect little chest xray on babies but it has become really rare. The baby is sitting in a small seat similar to a baby swing at a park and is not being squished too hard. Most babies WILL cry if placed even in a simple chair, but it actually can help fill their lungs for a better film. Also most places just go for actual high chairs if the babies can hold their heads up, or lay them down if they are too little. (I work at a pediatric hospital doing xrays.)
