Just so you know, it may not be the best idea to hose the carpets down. I’m not sure about that Acura but most modern cars have modules under the seats. Stuff like the power seat module, airbag module, etc. Just be careful where you spray. Otherwise it’s a great video!

I bet a steamer would be a worthy investment for interior cleaning. Wouldn’t need to use a razor blade then. They also make plastic razor blades if you still wanted to use them.

Me and Craig have two completely definitions of car flipping, Craig buys cars cheap and does a phenomenal job fixing them up then flips them for profit, me on the other hand swerve to avoid a raccoon at 70 miles an hour then flip my 2020 Toyota Camry I rented from Enterprise three times completely totaling it... Maybe I should take the car flipping 101 class.... Looks like I'm going to need to make a little extra money to pay off this insurance debt lol. Laughing but very serious...

@@rossfield8850 I know they say You're supposed to just hit the animal instead of swerving but there was no traffic on the road and I just didn't have the heart in me to run him over.... It was a rental I thought I paid the extra $18 bucks for the damage waiver that covers it but I accidentally paid for the bare minimum... I appreciate it I'm fine I will say this Toyota sure made a good car after rolling three times and landing in a ditch I came out of it with just a small cut on my arm from the broken glass and a bruise on my face where the air back deployed and pushed my glasses into the bridge of my nose could have been a lot worse

I’ve worked many detail jobs from a Honda dealership, Mannheim’s reconditioning bay to running my own mobile business. Mannheim’s does the same sort of cleaning they spray the carpets with degreaser and actually pressure wash the floors then it goes down the line and gets wet vac’d. I’m not a fan of this method though. If you ever go to auction and the car smells musty and the carpets are crunchy…that’s what happened. When I ran my mobile business I used one of those cheap bissel extractors from big box store. Still pre treat and scrub but it takes a lot more dirt out and you don’t leave any product in the carpets. Honestly it’s worth it

@@Tac_3403 only do seats out on personal vehicles and 2nd/3rd row for vans on past customer vehicles. Cost wise that always depends for a dirty van I was doing full in and outs for 150ish and 60$-100$ for carpet shampooing. If they had 2 vehicles I would cut the interior shampoo in half for both vehicles. Mind you this was 11 years ago and for the work I was doing it was 4-5hr per car

vinyl on the seat and paint both the front seats, completely, with leather/vinyl paint. Something close, but doesn't have to be a 100% match with the rear seat. Paint em both, nobody will know the difference besides other detailers. if you just paint the drivers seat it's a dead giveaway. $250 upholstery plus like $10 for paint, easy fix. Well worth it.
