Hello, great video, is it possible to know how much that job run you ??, ( IF YOU CAN DO PARTS AMOUNT, AND THEN LABOR ) We all know labor will depend on who does it, but at least to get an idea how much people need to dish out every 60 or 70 thou miles to be safe and not damage anything. There are cars with 100k+ on them and never done them, thats something I would never do, i think is better to do them and not wait for worst damage. CHEERS 😏😏😏👌👌👌

It's amazing how much misinformation is posted as gospel on these cars, by people who have never sat in one, let alone owned one. When looked after and well maintained they're not that bad at all. It's a V10 engine in a saloon car, it is always going to have costs associated with that.

If you have looked after it why not get the oil tested for peace of mind. But with low mileage you've probably changed the oil every 7,000 miles and that will A have helped a lot and B be cleaner oil that you test so erm.

They are definitely expensive when they go wrong but due to them depreciating a fair bit it allows for some money to be spent on the car, and still have a very special driving experience for the price of a modern hot hatch. But yes ultimately it is a risk and there are not many good ones for sale

Hey man....for a more attainable car, I would suggest an e60 550i, my dad has owned about 5 now (we now have an f10 M5), and they were always reliable fun. Still a 4.8 V8 and I would easily argue - far more rare than the e60 M5, which is in some ways more appealing in it's own right. Like I said, it's far more reliable too....its not quite the power or as special, but its basically a baby M5....plus, without the 'M' badge, parts and maintenance are much cheaper, dont get me wrong tho, its still not exactly "cheap" to maintain, but still more affordable than an M5. Just suggesting it cos I know it's a very underrated car...no one talks about it so I'm hoping it might be a good alternative until mabye one day you land yourself a dream M5 :), good luck!

@@TheM5Dog yh...realistically tho....literally what car has depreciated in the last year?....the mix of a crazy covid car market and the slow impending death of the combustion engine has just sky rocketed car prices...especially anything special or performance orientated. U could pick up e92 M3s for like a bag of chips and now they're like a serious investment....just because they're now appreciated as the only v8 M3....prices are CRAZY!!!!....sad to see unfortunately.

@@haroonzabair1180 definitely truth in that, but values of the E60 have been climbing for a few years. There are still some cheap ones about, but they're becoming more scarce. Looking at Autotrader only, there are 37 V10s forsale. There are 122 F10s, and while technically the better car, they're no where near as special as the E60. I drove an F10 and it was mega fast, but it didn't excite. I wasn't disappointed about getting back in my E60.
