Good conversation. Im for and against the alcohol ban being lifted at football, whereas it would be welcome income to clubs it still feels like too many cant be trusted. A pilot is worth it for sure

You didn't realise about fans taking carry outs into games pre 1980!!?? The first time my dad took me to Rugby Park for a game involving Killie and one of the Old Firm was in 1979. I was 9. Big travelling Rangers support, no segregation. A the end of the game instead of leaving straight away my dad hung back a bit to avoid the bulk of the crowd. The terracing was just a sea of cans, bottles glasses, ring pulls........all manner of drink related detritus. Including pished fans....................drink at the fitba in those days was mental!

There's only one team flying the flag for Scotland in Europe the other teams quite frankly are rotten and an embarrassment especially the crime scene team
