I played this for 4 hours on Friday and after almost 100 deaths and getting close to the end, I had to stop. I was emotionally and mentally defeated by the game. I will go back and beat it, but I needed a mental break haha

So much jank in this game! Being a game programmer just makes all the little bad details stand out all the more. The stretched cliff face texturing, the saw-toothed jaggy edges of drop-offs, the knight hanging frozen in mid-air during jumps, the character looking like a bizarre barrel when the camera ends up inside of him... I know exactly what causes all of these things, and just how easy each of them are to fix if you just bother to put in a *tiny* bit of effort.

it's not so much a "rage game" as it is "see how far you can go without failing". I was sure the point of a "rage game" is that it presents everything to you in a definite way and only your errors would cause frustration. This is like playing a really long troll level in MM2 with no checkpoints, except longer. There's no real "story" from what i saw from the intro, you saved a chick tha grew into a chicken that lives in your back satchel thing. And certain environment objects "surprise" factor to ruin your progress which is not "infuriating" until the fourth plus time you've been hit by it.
