Its always the same. Most of it is said by people who does not Crunch the numbers, or dont even understand what the kit does. But i also dont think about kit leaks, until maybe around 1 phase ahead. cus then its mostly no drastic changes, and just balancing. It does suck that iirc they nerfed the new relicset for boothill. (Think it was something regarding the DEF ignore thresholds changed (How much BE you need to get the Def Ignore%))

"what if I used characters that don't benefit the character I'm using at all" is what you just asked, replacing Gallagher with lynx and or Natasha is fine, his damage is nothing to scoff at in this team yes but ultimately he's there for sustain,but not using HMC if you don't have any other option with Boothill is just dumb tbh, put on your big boy pants and go through the quest. Tingyun doesn't provide Boothill with anything at all aside from Energy (something he's not short on either) , you might as well just put in Sampo or Luka and turn this into a full dot team. Edit: I realized my comment may seem a bit rude, sorry about that, you can do whatever you want forever.

@@siIhouettes I mean, I've been using Gallagher in my Acheron team and he does wonderfully as a healer, and he's E2, If you feel like your Gallagher isn't doing a good enough job to keep your team alive, you can go with Luocha, a sustain's job is to sustain first and foremost, you can't do anything if your Characters are dead.

Nah, I have 250 with a 3* lightcone. You should have a stockpile of the break set since they're pretty common and been in the game since launch. Although the rolls are still rng, you could probably still get some decent pieces.

He's timeless and easy to invest. the main thing to look at is if you can build him a team with your account, that also should be very easy but depends on how early into the game someone is. Not that it matters early on anyway tho, it's about the immediate impression someone will get.

This is just my personal opinion: In terms of gear he is very easy to build. Like, he just wants Break Effect and that's it. No need to be stressed out over his crit ratio, attack and bla bla bla. Therefore, I do think he is newbie friendly in this aspect. However, in terms of gameplay, is he easy to use? My answer is no. He isn't someone u can pick up and play without proper knowledge of the game especially action order and weakness break, which is a harder playstyle than buff stacking. His optimal support is limited to Ruan Mei, Bronya, Pela, and Harmony MC, and he is terrible at auto-play.

His damage is from break effect , as long as you have that on your relics it is a good relic, so you can run him with hp% or def% and make him a tank as long as that piece has break effect%

rope 64.8 talia 36 4 thief 32 traces 37.3 total 170.1 lily had 244.7 so that's break effect subs roll 5.83% on average that's ~13 subs into break effect base spd 107 boots 25 lily had 165spd so that's 33spd in subs spd subs roll 2.3 on average that's ~15 subs into spd 28 total subs. the average is 25 subs considering lily only farmed 4 thief since game's release, 28 subs is fairly easy to get

Alright here’s my take: at very high investment with fireflies buffs, she can be better than boothill in most content, however she is much more expensive than boothill and her teams are very much more limited. Boothill can clear the content with a portion of fireflies investment and that makes him more valuable to the majority of players who are not sweaty and play casually and don’t mid max their artifacts and pulls. I’d say boothill is better than firefly for the majority of players whilst firefly is better for sweaty veterans. (Unless you just like either character and don’t care about their kits. Then you pull whatever)
