Very cool! I haven't been up to Mt. Rushmore in many years. The best time to visit is after dark before 11 p.m. when they have the lights on and it costs nothing to get in.

Interesting! Their ticketing is pretty automated now, so I'm going to guess it's no longer free after a certain time lol. I agree though, it's super peaceful at night! Accidentally stayed a bit past 11 one night and got to talk to some friendly local law enforcement.

@@EvanLudes I dunno. I haven't been up there in many years. I'm sure things have changed. Wind blew over my tripod one night while shooting long exposure of Washington's Profile and cost me a lens.
