Dude what happened?!?!? Always check for boost leaks (to prevent bearing damage/wear) and as you well know oil feed and drains are important (especially feed flow/pressure/proper drain). That sucks man. Luckily, you can fix and make everything better from this experience! Remember man turbos work harder at high altitude and spin a lot more so remember that too. I had to factor that in with the BMW and many people have blown the pure turbos pushing them at high altitude. A lot of factors ha.

Did you cut the oil filter open to see how much glitter was in it? Would give a good gauge as to how much contaminants you got in the engine.

@@accoRding2Joel after blowing my motor on my vette bought an oil filter cutting tool from jegs. It's essentially a can opener for your oil filter. This will let you gauge how much metal made it I to the motor and have an idea of the state of it. Wish you the best of luck, take your time, would exhaust analyzing your engine before making decisions.

Sorry to see this happen to you bro. I have a feeling those shavings during the impact cause internal engine problems or your torque converter could have gone at fault. As you see couple metal shavings were around the throttle. You also stated that you seen blue smoke which is already a red flag. When you get a chance check the spark plugs and see if any of them are running rich on excessive oil. As a technician best advice I could give you is to sell the car or if you love the car and got money take it to the dealership.
