I am confused. When they brought your meal out,you said that it looked nice and not to bad. Then when you were outside,you said that it looked like it had been cooked in the morning. No way did that breakfast look like it had been cooked in the morning. Did you not send the meal back? Maybe if you had sent it back,this would have given them the chance to rectify the meal,or refund your money.

People exaggerate how 'bad' Wetherspoons is to be dramatic....I've always had reasonable, chain pub food there....most staff are good, occasionally there is a ruder one, but it's rare and it is a very hard job. 99% of my visits there go well..

Why didn't you complain to the manager about the state of the food and it was cold? You didn't have to do it on camera,you could of then just informed us afterward how you were treated by them, like the people said in their comments about the place...otherwise you only pointed how bad the food was.

need to get a spy camera and hidden mic. so we see its a dearer wetherspoons traditional being £5 instead of the £3,14 you just say hot drink dont have to tell them what your getting full price drink is £1.56 ours is £1.04 traditional 2 bacon 2 hash 1 sausage 1 egg 1 toast and beans, the large only added 1 sausage 1 toast and 1 hash should just complain and get refund its uneatable. i would not stand for food that bad. poor cook.

To be honest, I’ve never been to a really bad spoons; I work for the Environment Agency, so my job takes me all over the UK. Let’s be honest, Spoons is not gourmet food but it’s cheap and pretty-much decent; wherever you go it’s the same. They have a good selection of ales too. All the best

It sounds pretty crowded...strange for a pub that got a lot of bad reviews eh matey? The waitress was quick to be quick and the place was a mess because many people were there. Stop watching all the 'Restaurant Impossible's...lol.

I have never ate a breakfast from wetherspoon's and i never ever would. Food always looks cold and not edible at all.

Great review Keith. Reading the comments here, quite a few seem to maybe be in the service industry with the comments of send it back and let them rectify it. They seem to miss a major point here. When you pay for for something you expect it to be right and it should be right. If quality control was done then the food would always be right. Just because the food is cheap it still should be up to acceptable standards. A lot of people in the comments section seem to think because it is cheap then sub par food is acceptable. Though it would have been very interesting to see how the attitude of the staff would have been if you had sent it back.

Good Evening Keith. A very Good and Honest account of your visit to this Establishment of the Wetherspoon Chain of Pubs and Restaurants. I could tell straight away, went you entered Keith, it was rather dated and not very clean. When your plate of Food was brought to your table, Typical Non Customer Service with a smile and some bit of Rapport with you. Your Food was cold, because it had been waiting underneath a Heat Lamp, ready to be taken to your table. It may have not cost a lot, but You still Expect it very Well cooked and it must be Hot because Harmful Food Bacteria being Injested by the Consumer. You could gotten Severe Food Poisoning. Especially with the Eggs and Sausages. I really Serious about this. This place needs to Closed for peoples Health and Well Being. Thank you very much for sharing your video with me. I don’t think you can tar them all with the same brush and the reason for the Weatherspoons week. When I lived in Cradley Heath the moon under water was always sound in my opinion and The Postal Order in Worcester which was my now closest has closed down but always so busy and again seemed decent snap for the money especially! Hi Keith why dont you have an order you have had in your local place that wasnt good in another bad review place to get a real compare. I will tell you work with a couple of lads who previously worked at wetherspoons and they told me the bacon comes in already cooked and portioned and it is micro warmed so no excuse it being cold. As an ex chef if thats the thing you only probs get an egg that is not micro warmed. Believe an xpp

Not surprised that tasted horrible, it looked absolutely disgusting. I don't get why people want to eat breakfast in a pub, if I ever go anywhere, I always make my own breakfast at home before I leave, so simple and only takes minutes.

I once had a breakfast at 'The Sir Richard Owen' Spoons in my hometown, Lancaster. I seem to remember the food was okay. Trouble is, if you complain, they spit in your food! 👎🤮 Frankly, I'd rather have home-cooked every time! 👍😋
