Funny when some TERF is also that but is othering trans women for not being able to bear children....

Having gone through GRS all i can advise is choose your surgeon with care and use the best you can afford. Here in the UK going through the NHS is not a good idea, a friend of mine did and regretted it, in her case it went badly wrong and number of very expensive operations to correct their mistakes.

Had my bottom surgery 20 years ago. One of the most important events of my life. Zero regrets. This has been the best part of my life.

I went back to work at two weeks post op. Desk job. No problems as long as you sit on a soft chair.

Dear Dr. Sidhbh Gallagher. I’ve watched a couple of your very informative and enlightening videos now about your VP (Vaginoplasty) techniques and your own approach to education and exactly what to expect. I am a mtf transwoman awaiting my referal for surgery here in the U.K., within the next year or so. So I am getting myself as informed of everything about the subject as I can from as many different people, surgeons, and others who’ve had VP from as many different aspects and angles as I can. Thank You ☺

How bad was my vaginaoplasty procedure and recovery? I'm almost 5 months post opp and so far without a hiccup to speak of. Only pain I was was on day 4 severe gas cramps that I couldn't pass. Hands down the absolute worst for me was the horrid nasty descusting smell of Onions of all things 😩. I literally gagged and dry heaved myself daily. And no matter what I scrubbed with that smell stuck to me like stink till the 5th week. And just like that it was gone and what a relief 😂. I mean I new it was going to smell a little, but Onions, nothing caught me more off guard than that. Lol😂

Nice kitty. I got UTIs after UTIs. I had to go through fascia surgery because my leg was swelling too much. Plus, for penetration it is pretty useless, it is like a nostril. It does not even look pretty. This said, I feel much better after it, it was the most important element in my transitioning. It had been downplayed a lot, because some girls were super gung-ho about it, but honestly, I feel good about it. No sex, though. This was done in 2002.

Okay I'm still very very early in my transition but I still still figure it never hurts to be doing research even though it will probably be years before I'm ready to turn research into action. If you are talking a month of recovery for vaginoplasty how long do you expect for recovery of a zero depth to shallow depth. I am considering this because I am an asexual but I am curious about vaginoplasty but wouldn't be surprised if when the time comes I settle for zero deepth

I have no problem with gay people or trans but I can't wrap my head around on why any man would want to cut off his family jewels sounds scary and painful. But if anyone want to be gay or trans that's fine with me you do you just my opinion though. Gay and trans are beautiful people I respect them as human beings ! Sometimes I often wonder if I'm gay ? But I also like real women they are beautiful people too . I don't know I stay confused anymore especially since my father gaslight my reality.

Imagine every time you see your reflection it's painful and every time you look for help you get told to be what your not like every one else. I just want my outside to match my inside.

Every human is born with a gender identity, that inner “knowing” about whether you’re male or female. So imagine what it would feel like to have a male body while your brain is screaming at you continuously “I’m a woman!” Counseling, psychiatric meds, religion, etc cannot change brain identity. Hormones can’t either. Hence the body is changed to match the brain. It WORKS! Most of us are incredibly happy and feel our transition saved our lives.
