Most accurate description of Rugger lads! I’m doing Alcester too…you’ll enjoy the course. First half is steady uphill and then after a sharp climb after 5k it’s all downhill! You’ll fly round!

well done. I loved it. You're right about those Rugby guys... even here in the USA we got em... they talk us runners into coming out to play then break our collar bones. In football, Yep i agree just get the ball in the box as much as possible and get some tall guys up there, prob is that the tall guys can't make many runs... i dunno i'm no Ted Lasso :)

I vividly remember a family outing in the sixties, involving an interminable drive of 000's of miles in a Wolseley 1500, and ending up in Rugby, visiting a weird uncle. Quite enjoyed the double lap thing - and an interesting bit of off road at the end. Deffo do if you are local and don’t have to travel too far. Otherwise maybe not. Nice enough countryside, but you honestly could be anywhere.
