It was interesting to hear the story of CPI and see the production process, from the creation of the core, melting and finally the CNC machining. Thank you very much for letting us participate in these "magical" moments. Thank You very much. Suggestion for your future interview with the CPI team: it would be interesting to see how a cylinder is developed. I imagine the CAD study, the creation of prototypes by 100% CNC machining, and finally testing it on the dyno.

I had no idea CP industries are a family company all working in house from ingot to finish. I have lusted after a set of cylinders for a long time- have my banshee for 18yrs now and want to keep it stock as much as possible but would really love a set of wampus servals to keep that ‘look’…. I just always imagined they were a big tech impersonal company. How wrong was I!! It’s gonna take some saving but this insight is pushing me to save save save!! I was expecting to see a shop that didn't resemble my grandpa's garage. I think it's time CPI invests into the infrastructure of their business. I'm not saying a capable product can't spawn from humble beginnings, my grandpa kept multiple riders riding without a single DNF due to equipment failure all from his garage. I just expected to see something different from a company as long standing as CPI. I love thier passion driven by the memory of the founder. Awesome video.

Great Video Michael Sucks i couldnt have followed your channel sooner, I left my job as an Automotive technician to work at a powersports service and dealer shop, im not wrenching on anything im 31 and they put me in the yard for now. somedays its hard becuase i have a passion and so much knowledge of the machines and i try to help the guys but i feel like noone really knows my potential.. but your videos show me i can still enjoy building my small engines and working on my atvs n mini bikes at home

Watching this makes me wish CPI made a cylinder assembly for my YZ465. It may be pricier than mainstream parts but this way you're supporting a family owned business vs a corporation. Plus it's just made better and would last longer. :)
