@blakechradini7235Ай бұрын
@@Bogitahericsome information if it helps. The average BasiGo Length is 9 meters an average 545w panel in width is 1.1 meters. You can fit 8 panels on the buss meaning you will generate 3,270wph or 3.7kwh with psh and efficiency factor taken into consideration. I am not to sure what motor the BasiGo uses but most EV,s use DC voltages that are above 350VDC. Meaning you will need a specialized controller to boost the voltage of the panel to charge the battery or a whole inverter AC setup to charge the internal battery. However there is another option that they could use the panels in a separate system to power other components in the vehicle like Air conditioning. So your idea has merit but not for charging the buss.

Nairobi Bus park terminus which is currently is in disuse is perfect for an electric car, bus, motor bike charging station. The place is perfect to be converted into an electric car and bus charging station. One of the major issues of electric cars and buses is luck of charging stations. This place would be ideal for that. Its located central in the middle of Nairobi and thus can be reached easily from all locations.Electric motor bikes , cars and buses would utilize this as their charging station this would encourage more people to start using electric cars for cleaner air in nairobi. the place would be open 24 hrs.

As an entrepreneur, I have to ask: what happens to the Kenyan-trained scientists and engineers-the likes of Otieno, Marwa, and Mungai-when the founders are people from other countries? If we’re calling something “Kenyan made,” why aren't we highlighting our own local talent? We have skilled professionals right here, so why not complete the entire product life cycle in Kenya, using our resources and expertise? Let’s truly make it Kenyan from start to finish!
@BS-kl9yfАй бұрын
Nobody is preventing anyone from doing that. If a Kenyan entrepreneur doesn't have capacity to create the whole product then you can partner even with foreigners who believe in it. It is just common sense really.
@donboscongwina1479Ай бұрын
@@BS-kl9yfsir, I am a Kenyan living in the diaspora and my comment emanates from that experience. We are undervalued in the global market since we are either a dumping site for silly used products or a testing ground. Things happen in our own land but are patented elsewhere. That is exactly what is happening in the congo with the mines. I think we have the capacity to run this from start to finish. When you invoke common sense; I question if we both have it because this should also make sense if we were on the same page. Yes, read that again😂
@donboscongwina1479Ай бұрын
The whole saga is run from without. The money flows in international banks yet they only make a few kenyans managers here and there. It is our portion to sit at the design table; where real decisions are made. I am not saying thts what happens at BasiGo: Brilliant idea from the onset! I am just highlighting the urgency of having our own trained engineers and scientists at the forefront of innovation.
@BS-kl9yfАй бұрын
@@donboscongwina1479 you have spoken like someone out of touch with reality and likes complaining. I just came back to Kenya after 5 years in Europe. I came back with a business idea targeting employment of University students. It requires an App and I have offered to partner with software engineers to be co-founders but still no progress. I have better network in the EU so turned to them. You go to where you get progress. You can't stick with Kenya if it doesn't help. So what you said was baseless, because people are free to partner with anyone regardless of being Kenyan or not. It is that simple.

Children have skipped school to get these minerals. Just talk about electric and dont shadow the other. when the USA and Europe was flooding didn't you see the news, these vehicles were exploding up, some couldn't even start again, while the other side were laughing at them.
