You will be beautiful but as long as you stay true to yourself then bauty doesn't matter. Ik how it feels to feel like you're ugly, I have this girl in my class and she has serious talent for singing, she is a good drawer, and she is considered the most beautiful girl in the class. Honestly this makes me feel bad because I don't exactly think i'm what you call beautiful and i don't have much talent like she does. +Sparklezz !! Beauty isn't just about having a pretty face. It is about having a preety mind, a pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul. Beauty is the opposite of perfection, it's about confidence, charisma and character. Beauty is being the best possible version of yourself on the inside and out. You are either as beautiful or as ugly as you believe you are. You define your beauty. That's not a power anyone can have over you. Natural beauty is the best beauty. Beauty is a gift of God. I think everybody should focus on inner beauty. A beautiful face doesn't mean anything without a beautiful heart. Outer beauty attracts, but inner beauty captivates. Beauty isn't what we look, beauty is what we are. As long as you know you're a beautiful person of infinite worth, what others say shouldn't matter. "Beauty starts in your head, not in your mirror." - Joubert Botha

I am from America and that straight white teeth look is EXTREMELY important in America. Every celebrity has straight, white teeth and perfect bodies. In order to get straight, white teeth you have to get braces on your teeth. They place brackets on all your teeth (if needed that much) and then place a wire through the brackets to tighten them. From my understanding it used to be that kids didnt get braces till they were about 13 or 14 but now kids as young as 8 are getting them. We started talking about me needing braces when I was 6 years old. Your teeth, in America, are very important and can get you bullied if they're not perfect; thats what happened to me. This video was very eye opening and i would love to travel to some of the countries that were mentioned in this video!! Thank you!!

The person who seems to be the most beautiful is one of the ugliest. The person who seems to be the ugliest is the most beautiful. The person who hides from their fears will someday eventually overcome them. The person who overcome their fears will someday eventually be afraid of them. All these things are bad but...when you lose someone you love, your heart breaks in two. Your mind shuts down. Your smiles turn into tears. Trust me. I would know. Please, I am begging you to spend as much time you can with your parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, anyone you can, because it wouldn't only make their day, it would make yours. Because you never know how much you love somebody...until their gone.
@crystalchristianson577 жыл бұрын
I'm ten years old and I wrote this because I know what it feels like to lose someone you love and I wanted people to share their emotions instead of bottling them up and getting mad. When the person I loved was gone, I used to go my room scream at the ground and yell, "WHY DID YOU TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME!!! Because everything bad that happens in the world is the devil's fault so I thought the devil killed her and then one of Jesus' angels brought her to heaven.

@mansala108 жыл бұрын
Having straight white teeth in america is thought to be a sign that you're healthy and clean. Also completely straight teeth are usually obtained through dental procedures and braces which can get expensive so it's a bit of a status symbol. Around 47% of Americans consider a nice smile as one of their top 3 most attractive features

Occasionally, there is an actual need for orthodontic straightening of teeth. I was born without enough room in my mouth for all of my adult teeth, which would have caused major problems down the line. I had the top palate of my mouth gradually expanded over time, and a full set of braces to ensure that my teeth would settle where they needed to.
@emilynelson8168 жыл бұрын
I live in the US and I had braces for 9 years because my un straightened teeth were causing multiple health and social problems... I started with the orthodontist procedures when I was 9 years old but in the end all of the problems I was having health wise were eliminated and I'm really happy with the way my teeth look...

+Endless Eternity Beauty isn't just about having a pretty face. +joe momma No one said there wasnt pressure on men. Of course there is. But the pressure they place on women is far greater. Society is still very sexist.
@Epimpin1018 жыл бұрын
Gia~ I disagree with that. There is more pressure on women when it comes to physical appearance. But overall there is more pressure for men. Men have to be tall, strong, big dick, tough, make a lot of money, funny, charming. Men have to be the shoulder for women to cry on (since they are very emotional). All women have to do is not be too fat, and take care of your skin and hair. Realistically, men are not that picky. There is way more pressure on the man, since women are the one's who sit back and chose a mate. Men are the ones who have to impress the women. Women have the majority of the power in the dating world. And they have the power in the marriages as well, due to the way divorce courts favor them.
@jordanbabin8 жыл бұрын
joe momma There is pressure on both, lets just leave it at that. You think there's more pressure on men because you are a male and you see a better viewpoint on that, but I am a female and I see a better viewpoint on the female side. I think both have different pressures. Women are seen as submissive, gentle and caring, soft and weak And no, women are not "emotional" because making that statement makes it look like men are not emotional. Emotions are a human trait, and there is something called the stereotypical threat that makes both men and women act the way society expects them to act. This is why you think women are more emotional. Also women are called sluts when they sleep with many men. Women have libidos too, we are just forced to repress them. We love sex as much as you males do, but we are unable to express it without being slutshamed or being seen as "used" or less worthy than we are. Women have unrealistic beauty standards. No woman looks like the models in the magazines. Just because a woman is chubby or too skinny doesnt mean she is "undateable". Women are much more repressed in body image. Women are seen as less intelligent than men and less capable at leadership-handling jobs. They are paid less in some states and countries. They are seen as selfish if they don't get married and have children. You can also write an essay about male problems, but I think both have their own problems. Males are forced to repress their emotions and their humanity. Not all males were born to be the breadwinner, and not all males were born to dominate women or submit to women, or neither. See what I mean?

for people still watching this video, this isn’t exactly saying that if you don’t look like this in the respective country, you’re ugly. it’s just the beauty standard that’s been brought along with it. for example, not everyone in america looks like kim kardashian or kylie jenner even though they seem to be the standard now. everyone truly can be beautiful in their own way even if they don’t look like some of these people or don’t with whats ‘ideal’ for them. everyone likes their own things right, some people could care less about these standards, so don’t worry.
