MAGGIE DOING THE DANNY PHANTOM THEME IS EVERYTHING

I knew I found the one when I could be 100% myself. I had lost myself for such a long time, I forgot who I was, and he helped me so much find myself again. Our home is full of laughter instead of uncertainty. We just celebrated 9 years together. We build each other up. We've had a few disagreements, but never fights.

I knew I found the one when I felt SAFE. I had an ex that was toxic/abusive. He would critique what I would wear, he didn’t like that I was all about women empowerment, would degrade me in front of friends, slut shame my past - basically, he was horrible human being. Meeting my husband was serendipitous. He helped heal the scars I was carrying. He was patient, loving, and kind. He is salt of the Earth. 💗

I have forgotten that Keith said in the Best Friends video that he had been a nanny for a kid named Zach who was also Jewish. Also the baby that was next to Henry in NICU name was Zack with a "k".😊

I would love if you girls (and Matt) could revisit the question in a future ep…it sounds like Becky and Keith had a good conversation about what they wanted out of their future, but I’d love to hear more about what led Becky to know he was “the one.” Would also love to hear Maggie’s answer about Zach…and Matt about Eugene

Hearing Becky talk about being a mom makes me so excited for being a mom too 😊 I don't know when it'll happen, but hopefully someday! Also, as someone who has been a consistent patient for over a decade, and chronically ill my whole life, sometimes you do need to tell a provider that they're wrong about you! Especially for us AFAB folks who tend to get easily dismissed or hastily labeled.

I'm living not only for Maggie's love of Danny Phantom but Rainie bringing up Kovu from TLK2. I love any opportunity to bring up how prolific Kovu's voice actor, Jason Marsden is. He's done a lot of voices for Disney stuff (Max Goof, Haku in the English dub of Spirited Away) and he was really a vocal dreamboat that I grew up on hehe.

The owl fact where they fly silently is true! Their feathers have evolved to where instead of being stiff, the edges of the feathers are comb-like and lets air pass through them so they don't make noise, like say a pigeon's or crow's wings, which have more stiff feathers. Very effective especially since they spend the majority of their time at night! (Edit: updated language to be more visual)
@Namite00017 ай бұрын
Owls *can* get wet because their feathers are not waterproof, or as water resistant as other bird species feathers are, but they do lose their ability to fly until they are drier.

I am in the same boat as Patrick. I’ve tried to tell this person I no longer see the friendship beneficial and very much one sided (their side) but they refuse to accept it and leave me be. They see it as an “attack” on them and when I do tell them how I feel it’s all victim mentality. They were out my life for a month and I had so much peace. They just came back and my anxiety is 📈

To anyone wondering if you can get Jellyfish as pets, you can def get Jellies! They are and aren't a lot of work. It's depending on your life and how busy you are, and they're so peaceful to watch! I LOVE Jellyfish so much and they are def my favorites to see at any aquarium alongside the Leafy Sea Dragons. Edit: Owls truly do fly silently, but they do get wet to get clean. Like any other bird (not including waterfowl), they can fly while wet, but it's not like their normal effortless flight. It's a bit of a struggle.

I found the one when I started dating one of my long time friends from the sport I grew up at. We had a ton in common beyond the sport and were really young (14 and 16) but I was moving overseas so we started dating. It was now or never and I couldn't bare choosing never because I knew I would always wonder what if. Years later, my wedding is in a few months and I'm very glad I didn't choose never. I was 16 (nearly 17) when I first seriously thought about if I was going to marry him or not and I sorta made a list of things we had to work out before I could be sure and within the next four months or so, everything sorta fell into place. Once corona was finally calm enough for me to travel back to my hometown when I was 17, it took barely a week for me to be absolutely sure I want to be with him forever. Our values, faith and goals all aligned and I love him so much.

I think Maggie would be glad to know that blue Tangs (the Dory fish) can grow to be very big and need very big tanks as a result. So probably for the best that they're at aquariums and not a typical household pet!

I thought Becky's comment about hookups being about finding your person was interesting. I've noticed some folks do have this mindset, and nothing wrong with that, but from my perspective, one of the benefits of dating or hooking up with different people is that you get to explore things about yourself that you might not otherwise learn. For example, perhaps you find out from someone who's not partnership compatible that you enjoy a particular kink, and then you can bring it into a later relationship, but without that experience neither of you would've considered it. Hooking up isn't the only way to have those experiences, of course-within the container of a monogamous relationship you can still experiment together, read about things you want to try, and have non-sexual experiences with other people in your life that bring things into your relationship-but I do think sometimes that orientation of "dating is just about finding my person!" can close people off to experiences when they're young with people who might not be right for them long-term. Longevity isn't the only measure of satisfaction or growth or connection. In fact, I can think of relatively brief encounters where I learned particularly important things about myself, got a critical boost of confidence, etc. that I'm super grateful for. I think it's more about recognizing where you are in life, what stage, and what you're looking for out of dating in that stage.

(For Rainie) : The question about finding the one should have same time for Maggie and Becky to answer but it got longer for Becky and then, rainie just asked Maggie about babysitting. Lol. As a producer, You should also ask the same question to Maggie. Coz theyre both married so i wanna know what Maggie’s answer on when she know that Zach is the one. coz theyre both married.. the sender also mention, “And Now Maggie is Married, it’s now a good time to ask for help”.. the sender didn’t specify only to hear becky’s answer. 31:26 Also if you listen to old trypod episodes when they still read fan's email.. everytime there's a question to the guys... Miles make sure to ask all the guys the same question to hear their thoughts. I'm not mad at Rainie, It's just a constructive criticism. I knew she can do better coz she's good at asking questions.

The SAHM vs working outside the home is still very much controversial, at least online. I wasn’t aware of it until joining WTE just how common women will attack other women just for being on the other side of a parenting decision. Anything from feeding your child, to how they sleep, if they watch tv or not…it’s all up for criticism there. I am glad Becky isn’t in spaces like that because it can be so draining to see how toxic online “supportive” spaces can be.

I think if you end a friendship because your friend is going through some thing and is too gloomy you are an asshole. You don't have to constantly give them your energy but losing a good friend is probably the last thing that person needs
@feraguilar41757 ай бұрын
And in this case it also sounds like I was happy to be your friend when we were both miserable now that I'm happy I don't have the energy for you
@adriannaerwin456 ай бұрын
But it sounds like in this case the other friend isn’t really trying to get better or get help, and that can be draining when you want what’s best for your friend but they refuse to see even a little bit of good in their life to begin that journey to healing themselves. I’ve been both people and me now ,would’ve cut the me I was 5 years ago for the same thing ,because I was always negative no matter how many people I had in my corner to the point I’ve lost great friends because I refused to believe it could get better.

I usually love to sit with you 🥰 to calm down at night, but this time it was hard mainly due to the concerns of animal cruelty (all the aquarium topics a t the beginning made it close to unbearable to stay with you... as you seem like such good people, it would be an option to talk to a marine biologist once, about all of that? it nearly broke my heart, listening to it, while knowing what ensues for the fish and seals and all the other species in those institutions - that would maybe even be a nice topic for a video of trying 😉)

@@feraguilar4175 it still seems to be "that kind of place" though; mainly for the public, having different species in aquariums. I only know what's described, of course (being from another country and not knowing every aquarium or zoo for that matter), so I don't judge harshly, I just want to voice my concern over this kind of stuff (and explain what I felt during the pod).
