Plants have a hard time finding mates -- their inability to get up and move around tends to inhibit them. Luckily for plants, bees and other pollinator species (including butterflies, moths and birds) help matchmake these lonely plants in exchange for food. Fernanda S. Valdovinos explains how these intricate pollination networks work and how it can all change from one season to the next.

Most of us don't know almost anything about elementary facts of nature. For example, bats, that are mentioned incidentally and a lot of people think are "evil", are very efficient pollinators and therefore useful for animals like us who are on top of them in the food chain. Nice animation and good work, Fernanda!!!

I am a biologist and I have found this video very informative, and I know from the description that Fernanda Valdovinos has taught this class, however could you please tell me the academic source (scientific article, paper, etc) which was used? was it Valdovinos´ research? what literature did she cite? Anyways, keep up the good work TedEd, your channel is really good, and sorry for my english, it's not my native language

SangoProductions21 Start watching at 1:24. Birds are pollinators too! But, there's an old idiomatic expression about the birds and the bees. You can learn more about that here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_birds_and_the_bees We used this expression because the lesson is about how bees (and other pollinators) help plants have sex. Does that make sense?

Nothing compares to the humiliation after you catch her look when you could not satisfy her due to your erectile dysfunction. Love making is too important a part of life to just ignore and accept your performance troubles. If you wish to solve erectile dysfunction but concerned about damaging side-effects of current treatment options, try out the natural choice. It causes no harm and the result will last for life.
