I literally feel moved to tears every time I watch one of these videos. Because I can feel I can see does subtle shift in facial muscles in energy that people are absolutely terrified just as much as they are excited to be chosen. It's such a weird conundrum to be in! Nobody wants to be put on the spot. Nobody wants to stand out for their low vibes. I can feel this year fear and embarrassment and not wanting to be put up there. But I'm currently trying to work through this myself! I absolutely enjoy singing and would love to be an Entertainer but I have huge stage fright which it just doesn't match. So I know that something has happened in my life to make me feel small or like playing small is safe or being too big is overwhelming for others

Stage fright is easy to cure. If you actually enjoy being entertainer by yourself, next step is entertain one other person. Even if that feels cringe, just imagine that the person you are entertaining is yourself, and see if you can change the person with your set. Next step is doing several people. The trick is there only focus on one person at a time. Switch focusing on yourself, the voice in the room, and the reactions from the other person. When you do a crowd, just focus on one person at the time, but make it different parts of the room, so that you have covered points in every part of the room You can believe that something bad happened and that's why you suck. However, you can add a new way of being in the moment when you perform, and it's a skill, which is useful anywhere in life, both on stage and off stage

12:45 This weakness talk reminds me a lot of my toxic parents. No wonder I unpurposefully beat myself up for not having reconnected with myself yet. I seriously need to stop! And I need more people who challenge me, I need to stop feeling like I was the best in my tribe. I need to stop to put myself into the role of looking down at others. I need to feel that I shouldn’t dominate, not just think it.

15:20 These pity claps… are just too relatable! This is how people treat my neurodivergence. Nonsense like “You can do it ANYWAY.” or “You can’t do it better ANYWAY.” is what holds me and many other people out there back from their true ability. An unfortunate truth about the world!

Julien..this video inspired me..!! And when i look at your face on this video..! I SEE THE LION!!! Your face, the way you express! You know, i met some people who were less expressive, and then..the people who are way more expressive. For me i am not 100% stiffled outside, i know to be expressive, i know to be annoying. And i know to be nice. I know to piss people off. But i also know what a people pleasar i find myself being. When i see people who i didnt see much off and who lie to me. (I am a mangaka future, i like manga and characters) i never EVER found myself putting those people inside my character's souls. It can be anyone if they are unique..special..and have their own silly weird, beautiful and interesting way of living this resonates with stories in my mind. It excites me~ Now i thought today..i find myself very interesting, but also lost. I make character of myself in my story but if was every any less expressive or like those people i never find in my stories that would't be complete. How do you expect your characters to grow merita? How do you expect to have a great story? Your character Black, your two frustrating siblings (not real siblings) and the monsters and snowy village covered ij field of sunflowers, these all characters are not made of air..its made of passion and want to build a story that is..couragaous! From every pespective, every failure and every success. When i realised i never put any uninzeresting character to present my fictional friends, i was thinking... Also i had a thought. What if i looked back at my days and saw how every day i was trying for sky? How i was trying TO FREAKING REACH THE TOP SO QUICKLY? How i wanted to every minute of life...? And what if i instead lookee back and i didnt feel so good but after days days i regained trust and care? Its like when you talk to soneone and this is something i put on this perspective..i was talking to someone, and i thought..how would i feel third perspective in future every time i came to talk to this person? I knew it, i told my voice "i would try to be as nice as i can, and i would try to get a good response out of them!! Oh oh, especially the one that will be juicy and that will connect us and that we will have fun with " "But..isnt that a bit boring" "You think, why?" "..you enjoy it?" "No...i hate..it actually" "So why do you do it?" .. "I guess...cuz i wanna make them feel good" "But you dont care-" "I do!" . "Hey, just imagine this with me. What if we in future kinda sticked to how we feel and oh oh imagine a juicy and fun buildup where you get more comfortable with person as longer as you talk to me. You gain trust you dont try to make them like you. It happens" "Oh." "Hmm..? Interesting..right?" "I am scared" "Just do it" "..you always come with something like that..let me try.." ..*few minutes passed..i heard the same in my head..it sounded a bit scared and paranoid so i asked it* .."soo? How was it?" .. "Great.. I had fun. A bit more than before. I kinda feel you know happy to talk to them more now!" "I feel better too" "Okay.. Now listen! We always try so many things..and i know we lost many of our battles..but i like this one especially! You are smart, merita, arent you? And a stubborn ass. But you got me always by my back. You stab that shit in my face every time i feel like shit.if you know what i mean? You like to wait...but its like you never actually will leave me alone ever" "I got you, i'm gonna stick to you like a bug.." ... *(voice in his mind ...(maaaannnnnn)* Nice lil roleplay lolii AHAHAH I'M SMILING Lol

I find your identification with being a lion offensive, lol jk Thank you for creating this, this was triggering for me to watch because I also have a nice guy front and when you told the crowd not to clap that was very inspirational to me because I felt anxiety at the thought of standing up to a crowd and saying what's right at the risk of breaking the nice guy character. Thank you for helping me understand this inside myself.

Hey Julien, why people are angry at me when I'm trying to be confident? I feel like I'm annoying to them. But they are happy and proud when other people like my friends are getting confident. I feel like I'm a bad person but I'm not doing anything bad I'm just trying to make myself better.

I understand some people may feel exactly like you but he necessarily has to assume the dominant role inorder to teach people to fight their own ego.
