The third scenario is true to me. After buying birthday present and traveling to visit my ex on his birthday, 3 months later was mine and this guy never called, texted or did anything to make me feel needed. I called to be sure nothing happened to him and behold he was good and told me how he was out playing and watching football. I expressed my pain of him not showing any gestures on my birthday, he told me he was sorry and never did anything to show how important I was to him. I broke up with him because of that and he was mouth battering me and I couldn't bear it. from that relationship, I made up my mind never to do anything for men.

This reminds me of one of the scene from the movie '" The Break-up" when Jennifer Anniston was crying in her room as she was telling him how she was doing everything for him but he did not appreciated her and that she didn't know how they got to the point of breaking up.
@RosaliaMartinezRM5 жыл бұрын
You know, in the past 3 months I've learnead so much from your videos, and definetly one should be more subtle with affectionate gestures towards a guy, specially if you are just starting out, being too intense will scare away any man, high value or not. But also, while hearing these stories I find that many of the men who we think are high value because of status might not be so much, because their reactions are those of an insecure man. And the worst of all is the guy who doesn't have the guts to break things off, that is not a nice man, that is cowardly. To this point, your second story reminded me of that of a friend who did something similar: in the begining of their relationship (they now have been together for 4 years after this) she organized a surprise party for her boyfriend, the main difference in the end was that the next day he told her though her gesture was well-meaning he hated parties in general but surprises make him very uncomfortable, he prefers small gatherings or just doing stuff with her. So there you go, he was mature and comunicated with her rather than just dump her. Look for a guy that reacts this way...that right there is a keeper and a true quality man. Because we all make mistakes, if he doesn't over-react that is a real man right there. Of course, this doesn't mean that if a woman already knows being too nice is a no-no and still does it, then that is being doormaty...and it means she needs to work on her self-esteem fast.

Hey Greta, I'm just watching your content about a girl being too nice is a tuning-off for man. I would like to add one cent to the overall idea. From my perspective being a man and evaluating those men who declined for those girls, I would say most of the blame is not on those ladies; for me it was just a justification just to quit the relationship. A real grown up man looks all his life for such kind of women, and also knows that girls in general show their affection is those ways and that is perfectly OK; one person cannot judge or disqualifies another person for they way they expresses love. The problem is not being too nice, the real problem lies on who you are nice to.

@oisnowy53684 жыл бұрын
Almost four minutes in, heard some examples of "being too nice", but I haven't heard anything that's too nice. Organizing parties with loads of people around is not, let me repeat not, being nice. It's you who are desired and putting the town hall between you and your partner is distancing. It's not being nice. You can be nice. Even more, if you're not nice, there's no long term perspective. Just realize that in order to be nice, you should first learn and understand what being nice actually is. Also uncertainty is not a love need in a relationship, trying that is ultimately destructive to the relationship. Because you make the relationship one-sided. It's terrible advice. Don't think "me", don't think "him", think about the relation.

I'm not sure nice is being used in the right way here. What you are describing is what these women did that was so nice, was them being nice in a kind of take charge masculine energy. Instead be nice to your man in a feminine way. I would not want my woman to throw a big party for me. Or give me a dozen roses. The power point sounded nice in a good way. I also disagree that the woman needs to be the pursued what seems like indefinitely. Yes that aspect is true in the beginning. But sometime after mutual commitment is made, there shouldn't be a reason to continue to make him go through so much effort. By then just enjoy each other's company and love. But yes it is best to let him plan events for the most part. Then you can support him and be receptive to his plans. Or if you do have an idea for big plans, just bring it up to him and work on the plans together. Instead of a big "surprise" party as in two of the examples.

@@NOCOBE I didn't say anything about what women wanted, just a possibility of what they don't want. The only women that want pickup artist pump n dumpers, are also pickup artist pump n dumpers themselves lol or "sluts" as some people may rudely and hypocritically call them while praising a man for sexual conquests. And logically, if a woman can't provide for herself without a man then that's a good reason for a man to not be interested in her. I personally don't want children, and I don't chase. I only go for the most intelligent logical women that I can. Someone who gives the same energy that I do, because that's a balanced relationship. We do not live in a state of society where women must be provided for to have the same quality of life as a man. If you want to be provided for, cool. But don't expect the exact man they want if they aren't willing to give the same energy. If only on can substantially provide anything, it is an unbalanced relationship and they should find someone who's on their level. Fairs fair. If a woman doesn't want to go 50/50 then expect a man to be just the same. Treat others how you want to be treated. Gender roles do not statically apply to human beings as we have an advanced sense of abstract thought and self-awareness as well as the ability to make vastly different decisions. And by my experience it looks like my ideology is sound. My current gf is a scientist, with actual ambition. She has no requirement of a partner, she WANTs me. Not needs me, and vice versa. We go 50/50 on everything, never expect any sort of gender-based bias from the other. We never fight, only politely disagree. We discuss everything beforehand. And never make the other feel bad on purpose or use the "you always" attack. Balance is the key to a happy relationship.

Hi i appreciate your videos and efforts so this is not a criticism but my opinion and i would love a reply if possible. What you describe is true and more often than not what happens and women may not be aware so its nice of you to “wake them” to it. However this does not mean it is right what these men are doing and we (society) should not accomodate to it, is my opinion. Women have as much of a need and right to express their feelings and love without being made to feel like a baffoon or that they made a mistake. The women in these stories are not the ones who did something “wrong”, its the men. I am very interested and open to your thoughts on what i am saying Greta? Thanks, best

A point of view from an Egyptian man, not all men are like that, those four women chose the wrong guys. Those four women have no confidence in themselves. Such stories make women act foolishly with all men.

I totally agree! its only the wrong man that would disregard you for being a good person! you shouldn’t do too much when he is so relaxed, its a give and take...you shouldn’t even be with a man who doesn’t appreciate you anyway, A real man should adore his woman. You can always tell right from the start of a relationship ....End the relationship when you are the one putting the most. Some women just hang on all in the name of " i have a man" its not worth it.

You are suggesting tactics to keep insecure men around. Might work for a while but then they will scoot eventually when they get bored of treating you like a queen. If you are a generous, nurturing woman by nature, there is nothing wrong in showing up authentically. Let it drive the wrong men away sooner rather than later even if it is painful at that moment. The good relationships I know of did not involve men thinking the women were "too nice" or "too much" .

sounding like my brother's girlfriend. She was a great career, makes good money. She buys him fantasy Gifts, over the top vacations, only been dating 6 months. She too is singing his praises All over Facebook. Upset cuz he hasn't proposed. He starting to sees her as being manipulative she's doing all this so he'll have to love her and marry her. He's asked her to stop but she's not stopping. Told him she can do what she wants with her money. He's seen her house in total disarray. Very much in need if repair. Instead of spending all that money on him she should be investing her money in her house to make a better life for herself. he thinks that she's going to try to use him as an escape from her own life and he has legitimate concern I think. Take care of yourself first ladies. Don't play wife to somebody that's not your husband.

I’ve seen that in USA men only want women below 25 years old and see specially the ones over 35 as very old. It’s the same in Europe?

No, he has too many problems that aren’t your doing nor are they your responsibility to deal with or fix......I had a guy friend like that and it is like being friends with a whiny woman....he absolutely exhausted me with his two hour “woe is me” sessions....I finally had to remove him from my life because he was driving me crazy and he really enjoyed being a victim, it was how he identified himself.....
