CORRECTIONS + OTHER DETAILS: - I THINK three armigers / war dogs in a Super Heavy Auxiliary can still get the Household Traits etc. Knights have a rule that means three knights can still get detachment rules in SHAs. Doesn't help single titanic allied knights, but could allow things like Taranis feel no pain for Imperials or Vextrix re-rolls for daemonbreath spears for chaos folks. This would lose them 'Agents of the Imperium' though, so would break army wide special rules if you go for it! - I should probably have focused on Admech as a special case - they can bring a Questor Mechanicus detachment along without breaking Canticles/Doctrinas due to the Knight of the Cog rule. - Metalica Admech can ALSO get House Raven Knights to have Canticles of the Omnissiah with the Knight of the Iron Cog stratagem. Again, they don't break canticles/doctrinas (even if you take a full super heavy detachment) and can get some seriously nice extra buffs e.g. Light Cover or re-rolls.
@antongrigoryev63812 жыл бұрын
Yes, three Armigers in SHA should get Household Traits. It won't be any different from taking SH Detachment and having them each as a different unit though, as the cost is the same and they won't get Agent of Imperium if they aren't Freeblades. It would actually be better to take them in SH detachment since then you'll have fewer restrictions during deployment.

I would remind you of the 'knight of the cog' ability allows an admech detachment to take a questor mechanicus Super-heavy Auxiliary Detachment and not require the need to apply the wandering hero ability, thus allowing them to take houses like Taranis and not loose the doctrina imperatives and canticles. Only suffering the penalty of no code chivalric and bondsman abilities.

Having that chilling in someone's backline and a big, durable daemon engine + Obliterator blob moving up the field really puts people between a rock and a hard place. Also, I'd like to mention Bold Tyrants is a pretty good bond to take if you're running a deepstrike Knight. There is one extra option that a lot of people do overlook. If you are adeptus mechanics you can take Questor Mechanicus with out sacrificing the doctrinas or canticles. House Tarranis all the way!

Knights have pilots?

Honestly I hope the Ally rules are forgiving in 10th. That way I don’t have to finish my guard army.

Wow .. A ridiculous amount of rules ... Or is it just me ✌️💚

My friends and I are going to a GT this weekend and I'm running ultramarines with a squad of helverins for fire support. Because Giggleman gives the armigers rerolls and boosts to their advance and charge

You missed the best war dog class for Chaos lists, the executioner squadron with the Warp Vision bond (no light cover), and the pyrothrone for the 5+ fnp. It actually gave a Thousand Sons list a 5th place one of the bigger events.

wait what, is this new?

Not to sound egotistical, but this videos feels like it was made for me, me being someone who wants to play guard with a big fat fuck-off robot-lord-hq stomping around.

Knights are cool, but I just don't want one. I feel like they *really* want me to want one.

Its such a shame that IK is all about the stupid armigers, and because of this there is little point in bringing an allied knights.
@baron.72842 жыл бұрын
For being all about Armigers IK plays a lot of 3 Knight lists while Chaos gets better with fewer big knights up to only Armiger builds placing best for now.
@danpsyker61222 жыл бұрын
@@baron.7284 I think he's talking more about Allying Knights. Chaos can have a big knight and buff him up etc, where as IKs don't really get much for Allying in a big knight.

Yeah. I wanted to buy a big knight to support my BA with shooting, but this codex took out any hope of me doing that this edition.

This video would be slightly better if one of the last videos I had recently seen wasn't "starring command points will be less!" We've already seen how several armies might suffer, even if theyvwill still get those points, but later, over the game. Now they need to maybe drop 3-6 points of a shrunken starting pool, just to bring one of these, in addition to any other pregame expenses. Were I to be running an army, and have these feature, I think it would be fun and fluffy to either be playing Dark Angels or Iron Warriors. The loyalists have the while "space knights" theme, as well as options for beefy Terminators or fast-paced bikes, and having such a powerhouse with that could rock, while the CSMs of Perty are known for using big, powerful weapons, and breaking their enemies over a knee. A secondary little thought is a Sisters army heavily favoring their warsuits, being supported by some Armitures. On an only vaguely related tangent, I wish/hope maybe these are them go back and rethink the Baneblade variants. Western-themed Gundams are great, but there isn't a reason superheavy tanks can't ALSO be great, and if I imagine that something like a Shadowsword is MADE to topple other superheavies, it might be nice ifvit were if comparable quality, in play. Here's hoping?

why have 1 big knight when you can have 3 smaller ones
@Itsallover572 жыл бұрын
I have 0 interest in a knight army but I am highly interested in having a rampager as an auxiliary to my chaos army. One giant stompy bot tearing through enemies is majestic, an army of them trying to chase around foot sloggers is immersion ruining

I've always wanted a big gold Knight Castellan with my Custodes; would this work or not really...? 🤔
@tricatus73372 жыл бұрын
Do you have to take 3 war dogs or can you just do 1 or 2?
@jcmsaucey65552 жыл бұрын
You can take just 1 or 2 wardogs

I kinda wish they'd make knight preceptors psykers as well? Or at the very least gave Imperials some kind of psychic knight. Chaos knights just seem strictly better in every way than Imperial ones.
@argentumvulpus60602 жыл бұрын
Heresy! But that aside, the preceptor abilities really are much stronger for an army than the abominants powers
@magearamil86262 жыл бұрын
Yes, Psychic Knight would be so fun for Imperials. Even some kind of upgrade/warlord trait for 1 cast....
