Disregarding size, I think Shin Godzilla is still the scariest. The fact that he's not a reptile, but rather an evolving fractal mutant. Which would mean if you sever his parts, the regeneration and evolution would result in growing new Godzillas from those severed limbs. Hell he can even grow copies of himself by just a mere drop of his blood (see deleted scenes in Shin Godzilla).

My one problem with Godzilla Earth was that there was nothing to compare his scale to. Yes, I know humans haven't been there for 20,000 years and he moved like something that size would but still, would've been awesome to see him next to something that really showed his size.

Godzilla Earth was the first Godzilla I ever felt fear from, and I mean true fear!! The other Godzilla’s are scary, terrifying even, but there’s something about that though. I had seen Power Ranger Megazords equal/greater in size and/or power. To my mind: the Godzillas are powerful, but they could be handled if necessary. But the moment I saw the Netflix version and got to the point after small Godzilla was taken down, and I heard that number “100,000”, my eyes widened as my mind processed that. Netflix wanted to go all out and straight up strike the TRUE fear of Godzilla into us, and they succeeded. Nothing I had seen before could match that Godzilla. The terror was real. It was only enforced when a single ROAR did FAR more than any Atomic Breath or even the Red Spiral Ray!! And I have one conclusion: there are NO words I could use to even begin to describe the awesomeness of this Godzilla!!

Dan D, more so the fact of (imagining yourself in that world) type of fear. Yes it's a cartoon. Yes, it's not real. HOWEVER, if there's ever an "immersion" for Anime and such, seeing this Godzilla is definitely fear inducing for this world. Also, bear in mind why children get nightmares from seeing something they say is scary: immersion. Their imaginations put them into a scenario where they meet said scary character and as such they feel fear because of it. For an Adult to get scared, it's definitely a similar principle. Remember Monsters University, where Mike and Sully scared several adults by building up their fear? Same principle. So... have you ever seen a character from a Cartoon, Anime, etc. that, if you met in real life, would terrify the piss out of you, and not acknowledge it to yourself... You are not human.

Godzilla’s size is very interesting whenever it changes and evolves throughout the films. I bet the 100 meter tall Heisei Godzilla would beat the 50 meter tall Showa Godzilla and the 70 meter tall Tristar Godzilla only to be taken down by 2014 Godzilla, the millenium Godzillas and Shin Godzilla only for that lot to get stomped on by the 300 meter tall Godzilla Earth. My own Review and the Movie and honestly this movie. *Warning Spoilers below* This video kinda spoiled me after (btw i just watched the movie.) Not that i blamed it but it kinda surprised me and made me wonder by the trailer and the title of This video. I questioned my little bro "Hey Lex....Wasn't Godzilla bigger?" "Yea ik" he responded. I told him to pause the movie i said "Hey lex what if there is a secret bull shizzle like the real Godzilla in the trailer will appear in the end or there will be a thousand of Godzilla's appearing." Because i was puzzled cause 20,000? and Godzilla still in the same size as a building? With all those plants and buildings caused by organic hostiles? I kinda was expecting all these stuffs and it kinda happened. And when i think Metphies was "spoiling" the victory after Godzilla's Defeat and saying 20,00 thousand crap, yeah. Me and my bro looked at each other and kinda expected it. Then after the REAL Godzilla appeared i was surprised. I have no terms or harassment against this video it just kinda intrigued me. I laughed like a maniac when i was right. The one you were complaining the Moustache or Beard my brother wondered about that and i was thinking and predicting myself and the movie. The Main character kinda reminded me of Eren Yeager their personality are so identical. They both devoted and dedicated themselves to save Humanity from 1 adversary. For Right and Justice.And the temper oh don't forget about the temper. Damn it was surprising and cool i'm excited for Part 2! Hope you had fun with the movie as well SciFi Explained! I think the recent Godzilla offerings have been awesome: Legendary Godzilla - big ol' lizard based muscular look, Shin Godzilla - goes through stages and has crazy atomic ray abilities, and Godzilla Earth just massive beyond compare. The one thing I find strange though is when there is estimates of weight shown they show Shin Godzilla and Legendary coming in at 90k tonnes and Godzilla Earth who would be like 20 times as massive coming in at 100k tonnes. Is the decimal in the wrong place?
