So the medical profession tests for the flu, strep, and other things before a Covid diagnosis is made. At least where my co-workers wife works as a Physician. People may cite how the flu “miraculously” went away, inferring that the Covid diagnosies are actually the flu. Yea, the flu did temporarily go on hiatus. Cause of mask wearing or social distancing. To all you mask denier scientists, the flu got subdued because of those of us who didn’t politicize all this crap and will go to the ends of the earth going down that rabbit hole. Can you imagine what the counts would be like if none of us wore masks and didn’t social distance? Boy I can hardly wait for the defensive responses. Well... as an aerosol it would, but the virus needs to stay within a droplet in order to survive. It may last up to 19 days on a smooth surface, but on paper and cardboard it's about 24-72 hours. The proteins it needs to maintain it's structure break down rapidly when they dry out. So it's not the size of the virus you worry about, it's the size of a droplet small enough to be suspended in the air. So tight weave fabrics, or poly unwoven fabric with a decent density. We say masks are dangerous because people touch the outside surface while it's potentially virus loaded, they wear them continuously when you should be swapping them between environments, and they don't wash/sanitize the mask after use. Basically sucking the virus to the mask surface and taking everywhere you go... and one contaminates everything one touches after one takes it off wrong.

Masks such as the N-95 mask stop particulates of .3 microns or greater size. In short, the masks don't stop the virus. Very basic science. Masks = Exercise in government control through fear.

As I explained above it is not the single virus that the mask stops. It is the virus load from sick individuals who are shedding mass covid that we are attempting to limit. When people are sick they cough out droplets teaming with virus. The mask stops the droplets. If the droplet is stopped the mass of virus within are stopped too. Furthermore if you are shedding covid your mask will contain the droplets such that those around you are not exposed to the necessary virus load to overwhelm their immune systems.

All this has taught me is that there are a lot more things out there that can take you out other than the prescribed danger of the week that Dr. Fauchi keeps himself in the spotlight with. I'm no longer entertaining these arguments. I'm not generally wearing a mask, I don't trust the vaccine and these are MY choices to make as a free American. If you have an issue with that, it's something you are just going to have to get yourself over or around but it isn't my problem. I refuse to live in fear or allow someone else to compel me to do so because of their inability to simply do what they want to do while leaving others alone. What I do, or don't do, is none of your business and I have no legal obligation to take any actions to alleviate your fears. If anything, masks may give folks a greater sense of safety and they may take more "social exposure" risks while wearing it. So overall, I would argue that masks are ineffective.

a cv virus is the same size as a bacteria?? check your video...why spread info that contradicts itself. Video says, at 0:22 that a bacteria is .0005 mm and at 0:37 that a virus is .0005 mm. For those wondering how a mask catches covid if its so small is well its not that small and this video has it mixed up or maybe my source isnt that reliable, but any ways mayo clinic (KZbin doesn't like links search it up) says that covid measures out to be 0.12 microns across while a KN95 is supposed to catch things that are 0.3 microns in diameter, so just wear a KN95 or its variants. If I'm wrong I'm more than willing to take info.

Pengu, I just live my life without fear of catching the disease. I have a compromised immune system and some of the comorbidities they talk about but I also believe everything happens for a reason. I simply believe if I get it, I was meant to get it. I have refused to wear a mask everywhere I have gone except into the VA hospital because they force me to wear a mask.
