Well! Most people have smart phones with cameras. However birds are easily agitated and fly away when you make sudden movements (such as grabbing your phone out your pocket). Second, Yellow Cardinals are native to South America. The quality of life and standard of living there is significantly lower there, therefore less people would have smart phones. Ignoring those factors. There are about 120,652 photographers in the US (according to data usa io in 2019), and 328.2 million people in the population in 2019. And as Daily Dose said, the chance of seeing the bird is 1 in a million. This gives us the calculation of: 1/1000000 = 0.0001% chance for the bird, and 120652 / 328200000 = 0.03676173065% photographers in the US. These two figured multiplied together equates to a percentage chance of 0.00000367617%, or as you said, mad luck.

It's been there since screen reader. Basically, the phone would read what's on screen, or what you'd click at, and then you click again to actually input a letter. But this braille version is good because it's very intuitive for blind people.
