How BO3 (nearly) perfected zombies.

Dude you scienced the 💩 out of the Zombies experience and I’m 100% here for it! Nice job on this video, you took your profound understanding and made it manageable for even a knuckle head to follow along. BTW can anyone kindly confirm the complete list of maps for BO3 including the season pass and zombie chronicles? I’m having a tough time finding a comprehensive list of BO3 Zombie Chronicles Deluxe editions zombie maps. Really looking to see what maps come with the deluxe/season pass that are not in the zombie chronicles. Also, I really enjoy playing IX on BO4. Big replay-able gameplay loop vibes for me!

Thanks so much for the watch man, I appreciate the words. Sometimes I feel like I ramble so glad to hear it was comprehensible lol. As for the BO3 editions: the base game includes only Shadows of Evil. The Zombies Chronicles edition includes Shadows, Nacht, Verrukt, Shi No Numa, Kino, Ascension, Shang, Moon, and Origins. The Zombies Deluxe edition includes all of the above maps plus The Giant, Der Eisen, Zetsubou, Gorod, and Revelations. Also, yes IX is one of the certified bangers of BO4. Like I said, plenty of good times on BO4, it's just not as consistent.

I understand we’re ur coming from but I gotta disagree. For me bo3 has 2 goated maps, 1 lazy casual map that while fun we had seen already, and 3 mid/bad maps that featured too many rounding steps and not enough min max cheese. Chronicles and customs saved bo3 for me. Also, post moon free perks were getting more and more rare and in bo3 most extra perks came from gums and not quests so they could make money. Correct me if I’m wrong but the only way to get more perks on de is to do the egg and its not like on moon how they stay post death which should be the standard. Zet had the plants but if u were over 5 I’m pretty sure u just threw up. I mean bo3 is good but without the chronicles and customs boost its not better than bo2

I really appreciate the watch! This is the type of dialogue I wanted to open with this video. I totally get what you mean about the min/maxing; bo3 is definitely made for a type of player and it's not for everyone. As for the free perks, that was just an example I was using for a misc. side quest. Really what I meant was all bo3 maps have at least one extra side quest on top of the typical five setup features (power, pack, wonder weapon, shield, specialist weapon), but it isn't always an extra perk. You are right, for example, SOE and DE don't have extra perk quests but they still have side quests. SOE makes up for it by having the civil protector as an extra side quest. DE makes up for it by having 4 wonder weapon quests (5 if you count the un upgraded bow), a free gobble gum quest, and the plunger quest. In Zet you only threw up from extra perks if you were out of perk slots; you can get more perk slots from the trials and from growing them out of the kt4-boosted plants. The gist of what I was getting at in the video is that, to me, an ideal setup process in a zombies map is having 5 or 6 main things to do without being too simple or too overly convoluted. There are many ways to achieve this, I just think bo3 did it best by ensuring each map would have at least 5 things to do with a misc. sixth thing.

But you are 100% correct, chronicles and customs was the best thing to happen to zombies potentially ever. It really lets every type of player have a taste of what they like. Also bo2 is goated, its a very close second behind bo3 for me. I can't blame you for that opinion at all.

@@ItsAHat I play very opportunity cost style when it comes to maps. If I’m playing a quest map it’s gunna be one of the best(mob, origins, shadows, de) if it’s not one of them it’s too tedious for me to want to play and I’d rather a simple map(kino, cotd, or ascension if I wanna train with friends, or the giant and all its versions or buried if I want to camp) the rest of the maps are hardly played from the waw-bo3 era for me and the only thing outside of that I’ll play is Spaceland or potentially bo3 moon if I wanna cheese the egg with some friends and have fun with all the perks or solo waw shino numa for high rounds😂

@@Austin_Bourque_yeah I definitely respect that. Origins and mob are still my top 2 even though bo3 is my preferred game overall. I’m definitely more of a quest kind of guy so I play all of bo3 pretty regularly. When I want something simpler though I’ll play the giant, five, moon, or maybe call of the dead. I really should play space land again, I swear it’s an honorary treyarch map 😂
