Where was that 5k tho? I think both beatings were excessive and Ari might have enjoyed it a bit too much. But that is a chunk of change and Bobby was financially insecure enough that it was questionable if he would pay it back if Ari didn't encourage him to prioritize it. Not to mention the smack talk Bobby constantly put out.

When you're supposed to be a good friend, but you're a lying, backstabbing weasle, you get what you deserve. Jus' cos he's weak, helpless & pathetic, it doesn't mean there aren't violent consequences. I don't like Ari, but he was completely in the right. Why would he attack guys he doesn't know or a woman? It's the betrayal of a so called friend that infuriated him. Bobby Lee is pure scum. You just think he's a cute little teddy bear. Bobby HELPED the new MAD TV cast member hook up with Natasha! I am more than aware just how frail people are and how easy it is to die. Ari's abusive treatment of his "friends" isn't exclusive to Bobby, and he hasn't gotten any better. He just drugged Bert Kreischer during a podcast filming in Bert's home just a couple of years ago as a "joke". A very small part of this video, yet I felt compelled to add on to it... One of the main reasons Pauly shore was in the audience at the comedy store is because his parents owned the venue. It was originally opened by his dad but when his parents divorced, his mother Mitzi was given ownership of the comedy store in the settlement. It is still owned by his family to this day, Pauly's brother, Peter, operates it as part of the trust his mother put together before she passed.

Sure, not everyone attends a 6 month program [3 month inpatient + 3 months outpatient (while still living at the residential facility)… the most “effective” treatment structure according to studies], but even at a posh 30 day “rehab-lite” it’s not unusual for clients not to have their phone for 30 days.

To be clear… people still need to give Khalyla her due. I understand that everyone hates her… I understand everyone is convinced that she manipulated Bobby for a decade and all that… and personally I never rly liked her, BUTTTTTTTT we would not be talking about Bobby today if not for her. Tigerbelly wouldn’t exist. Bobby’s career-revival wouldn’t have happened. The entire Bobby Lee empire as we know it wouldn’t exist had she not pushed Bobby forward. She encouraged him to do things and pushed him to put himself out there. She took care of his domestic life so that he could just put the limited energy he was willing to spend every day toward his career and creative pursuits. She cleaned his house, she made sure he made it to his commitments, she pushed him to get off his azz sometimes, she made sure he kept up with his relationships with his friends (going to their parties, answering their calls, going to visit them, checking in with them, etc). So whether she’s a devil woman or not, the internet will never understand Bobby’s attachment to her if they can’t give her credit for everything she has done for him. Bobby’s WELL AWARE of how much she’s changed his life for the better in many ways; that’s why he always has her back. It’s not cuz “he’s under her spell” or wtvr like people say. (maybe it’s that too, but regardless people are discounting her contributions) [now I’m gonna go copy paste this comment on the top level comments cuz I’m not bout to reword it 😅]

the thing about Bobby, he seems like the easiest person ever to manipulate. Even when he is wrong, the truth coming out usually dampens the blow against him because you cant help but realize his heart wasnt in the wrong place, he just is not an independent thinker, therefore easily convinced into thinking his actions are okay. Bobby’s biggest flaw is his backbone, he doesn’t have one to stand on around others

I think you are definitely missing some context on Kalyla. Im pretty sure Bobby personally said he was the one who opened up the relationship. Their whole dynamic changed when she had that heart incident. He stopped looking at her as his partner and became her guardian. He stopped being intimate with her and he knew it was hurting her. Its very misleading not to include this detail when he blatantly talks about this in his podcast. Its like people completely ignore what was actually said and go straight for speculation. The abortion thing idk what to think about that. I think she has some sort of trauma but she did almost break up with bobby when he first talked about her abortion. She definitely wasn't used to sharing everything online and im sure she said crazy shit to match bobby's energy.

Bobby definitely helped me deal with a great amount of real issues with childhood SA . I know it wasn't a revolutionary concept at the time , but he was the first person who really got through to me about being able to laugh at it, and that means so much to me that it is hard to believe the worst of what may be true about him. I'm sure I was just in a vulnerable place and he happened to say and do the right things , but it means the world to me. That was what inspired me to start turning my past into a comedy routine, and whether that goes anywhere or not , I'm laughing now.

@danielmccarthy3672 turning your story of childhood SA is such an awesome way of dealing with ot, much better than the path I took lol. But seriously, your story is inspiring and here's hoping I see you on a major network comedy special someday!!

@melissarodocker7568 I walked down a very different path for a long time. I'm lucky , or unlucky enough to be here still...depending on how a person looks at it. That means a lot , honestly. I'll be happy enough to perform a good show, but if it goes all the way I can take that ride....and I'll remember you writing that.

@@danielmccarthy3672wishing you all the happiness in the world I’m a child abuse survivor but mine is neglect, ableism and physical violence (I suppose emotional abuse too if you wanna count it), and man, laughing at it helps me cope so much, Bobby also helped me with that outlook as even tho we’d suffered different forms of abuse, the message could still be applied. Humour has become a wonderful coping mechanism in my life, I still live with the nerve damage and cPTSD from said childhood, but using humour has massively helped me have a positive outlook on life.

Just started watchin Bobby. I'm not from the US so he's not very popular here, but he seems like a normal guy with flaws, addictions and shit to deal with. So fckin crazy how much crazy ppl get close to this kind of fella.

That impound story... is the exact kind of scenario where "Good Friends", as opposed to "Bad Friends", come in handy. Did Bobby ever have even one good friend on his come up, or down, or back up again?

@@trashfire9641 He doesn't stike me as a particularly intelligent guy, really, so the impound story is something that honestly doesn't surprise me. Ari seems to be a huge piece of shit himself, but in his shoes i'd be pissed aswell, if the guy i had lent 5000 dollars to, knew my girlfriend was cheating and was running erands for the guy she cheated on me with.

I don't think there's anything understandable about Ari's first attack. Whether or not Bobby did that, kicking someone on the ground and then trying to kill them is absolutely insane.

Pauly Shore, proof that if you are well connected, all doors are open, especially if your mom is holding the door open for you. Ari remminds me of that one character in Diner who held a grudge against a rival HS baseball team well after he was in college
