@@Melvina1975 I had a someone I knew who did that, he would call me saying he's bored has nothing to eat nothing to smoke Whereas I did He would try & make me feel sorry for him just so he could use me for supply & I realised this because asoon as I gave him just a few fags if anything he wouldn't care talking to me on the phone till the next day where he would call me again doing the same thing, so I stopped then he started guilt tripping until he caused an argument cos he couldn't get what he wanted He was doing it every single day

One of the other problems is that people around the narcissist (who don’t see the narcissism) will feel that the narcissist “has done or accomplished so much” because they have lived such adventurous lives. What they don’t realize is how many people the narcissist used to get there, how much they exaggerate their stories, and the fact that they often cannot connect with a deeper self. They might be flashy, thrill seeking, entertaining, but at the end of the day, they cannot truly appreciate anything that is not surface deep.

Mine would never let himself get bored… he was always multitasking playing games & keeping up with 8-12 other women who were supplying him on social media. Every time I found out, it was a new batch of women. No type, no standards… just any woman who gave him attention. I’m over here healing from the most disorienting relationship & breakup ever while he’s living out his fantasy life on social media. He’s gonna die with his phone in his hand because he has alienated every real-life person who has loved him. So sad. I just feel bad for him.

My sister's ex narc was constantly doing thrill things. Yes, he jumped out of an airplane once. They visited me in my new state just so he could go whitewater rafting. They had a brand new baby and he insisted that they go on a trip to race cars. They left their newborn with me. Of course my sister was upset and worried about her baby. His response? Well she has two kids and they've survived so the baby will be fine. Yup. They're divorced.

Sheesh, I'm surely glad I went not contact with my narc girl decades ago (I saw her last year, she tried to present herself to me, to get me to talk to her). Wow, so freaking toxic. I'd rather have a root canal! I sure hope I never see her again, I saw her four times after, I got out by pure luck, and divine intervention.

His new supply is incredibly narcissistic. She posts 20x a day, claims she has 7 boyfriends at a time and shows up to places extremely late, constantly looking for validation showing her body. Complaining that she can't lose weight but doesn't do anything about it. Self absorbed. Alcoholic. Food addict. Some people say the narc and empath reflect the traits eachother needs to work on. Narcs need to become more loving of others and empaths need to become more loving of the self. Empaths can be too self sacrificing and there's a balance that's being asked of.

The narc parent/s overpraised them as a child. This child then learns they are better than everyone and deserve the same treatment from others. Or they were neglected and abused. The false self is opposite to the real them. The mask is selfish and entitled. They are deluded to be this powerful, popular leader and create a cult of supplies.

Do narcissists also pick on you because they’re bored? I had explained my misophonia (sensitivity and irritable response to repetitive sounds like chewing or sniffling) and I SWEAR he would do it on purpose just to drive me crazy. It honestly felt like I never had a moment to just be peaceful because he was always getting into stuff.

Yes and i also have misophonia it's very bad, even just having dinner with my family is like torture. Thankfully i didnt trll him back when I was dating him but he picked at everything to push my buttons and did things that made no sense for an edicated adult to do. Had no consideration etc. I am on the spectrum so it wasn't easy for me to figure out he was doing everything wrong on purpose and leave but I'm glad i got away from him and he hasnt changed from what i am to understand.
