Patrick's information is priceless..I've been diagnosed with mild COPD in Feb. 2020..and have been on various inhalers since then with two 1 week stays at our local hospital for O2 levels at 84%...I've been encouraged to deep breathe which raises my O2 levels to 95% but sitting quietly and SLOWING the breath seems to work...i'm confused about both the deep breathing and the quiet breathing (shallow), but plan on getting his book: OXYGEN Advantage.

Thank you so much. I’ve suffered from crippling anxiety since I was 18 and I’m 37. I still have it everyday with meds. If there’s any other videos you could do with what foods to eat or natural remedies, that would be great!

Meditation, Wim hof method. It did wonders for me. My anxiety was extreme and I was on medication for 20 years. I’ve been off meditation for 6 years. The cold showers and ice baths along with the Wim hof breath work saved my life and I hope it can for you too. Commit 100% for just one month.

Megan you are not alone! ❤️🙏 I, too, suffer, and I’m 41! I know this is not Bob and Brad advice, but limiting alcohol, sugar, and caffeine has worked so well for me, and……periodic fasting believe it or not. Of course this is not medical advice, just my own experience….I run and lift weights, and that manages it well. ❤️ Anxiety is sneaky and mysterious, and it’s painful but, it’s not forever. I hope you start to have and feel abundant peace in the new year sister! Let’s breathe deeply and feel it wash over us.

@@GeraltOfRivia99 I'm on 50mg of Sertraline it's also known as Zoloft. I'm not 100% but it has helped. I started on it two months ago and it was very interested when I saw this video because I also have a sleep disorder and I breath through my mouth a lot. I'm going to talk to my doctor about some medication to get me sleeping properly because I find when I have bad sleep which leaves me run down I am more prone to panic attacks. I'm also going to go to a breathing therapist. Another thing I have heard good things about is Cognitive behavioural therapy which is meant to work well. One thing you could also look at is do you have any underlying fear is there something that you are really fearful of because that can become anxiety which then leads to a panic attack and all the horrible physical symptoms that come with it. If you are carrying a fear of something talking to a therapist can help with that because if you remove the fear that will remove the anxiety and without fear and anxiety you can't have a panic attack .

I would rather recommend you buteyko breathing exercises, 4-7-8 breathing, box breathing, hrv coherence breathing.. I struggle with anxiety and panick attacks but since I started to practice these exercises a lot of things changed. Don’t forget to stretch your neck ( occipital lifts are the best) !!! The anxiety state usually come with a lot of headaches from all that tension ( at least in my case) A big hug for those who struggle with anxiety and panic attacks and feel like there is no life without them … trust me , it will get better 🤗

Hello Bob & Brad (team), could you consider (also) releasing your podcast episodes on a separate channel? You have a lot of playlists and also a lot of other video's on this channel so the podcast episodes are quite hard to find on this channel. Uploading them on a dedicated channel might really improve the ease of finding the podcast episodes. I enjoy "listening" to them on KZbin plus this way you get some of my premium money so that's why I prefer this version over using my podcast app.

The best is through the nose, the secret is feeling the air passing in and out. Putting your attention to the sensations and feelings of the breath, even the pause between the breaths to bring your attention to the present moment so your mind doesn’t wander and think about the past or future
