I am from USA but born and grown up in East Africa. My high school teachers were from India. I know how Indians sound and move their heads and hands left and right while speaking. Not only that I watched a lot of Indian movies back home. Trevor Noah is a beloved Comedian around the world. The way he played about Indian Colonization by British was something mesmerizing and laughable. I was so happy you as Indians reacted and enjoyed it. That is how Comedy has international values and makes us all laugh. Even the British were cracking and laughing.

If you live in Africa especially parts that were colonized by Britain, you end up very knowledgeable on Indian culture because a lot of Indians were brought to Africa by the colonizers to work and they remained. Durban in South Africa is said to have the largest concentration of Indians outside India. Even Mahatma Gandhi spent a large part of his lie in South Africa. Rishi Sunak's father was born in Kenya while his mother was born in Tanzania. We celebrate Diwali e.t.c

I am thankful that the United States can attract such talent as Trevor Noah from around the world. Being mixed race in South Africa gave him a perspective that has helped him understand and express cross cultural interactions. I really like how he puts a comedic edge on tricky subjects.

Trevor Noah is brilliant. We South Africans are quite knowledgeable about India because we have the largest Indian population outside India. Ps. I've visited India 3 times; Salem in Tamil Nadu to attenda Hindu wedding, Delhi and Agra, and then Himachal Pradesh, where I visited the Himalayas.

One thing by the way, some also may know about lots of stuff about India from Bollywood Movies- here in Moldova (and let's say all the former Soviet Union countries) Indian movies are highly popular- especially the classics such as for example Dance, Dance or Disco Dancer with Mithun Chakraborty - it's classic everyone knows them- I am a disco dancer...pam pam param 😂😂 I know those movies cuz I've watched them in childhood with my parents (Frankly speaking Im not really a fan of Indian movies, just few movies I liked, the rest of them either in poor quality or especially when they try to copy American Movies sometimes copy paste, it's just...well unsuccesful usually-when they do something original-yes it turns out good but it depends) and interesting that in Disco Dancer (Or Dance Dance I don't remember) there's a scene where like a couple is training for dancing and in the background is a, well I'm not sure if it's Moldovan traditional music (flute music) so I will say Balkan music because it's similar to countries from the Balkan regions such as Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and etc. And well personally I know about Indian Gods as Krishna, Sheeva, Lakshmi, Ram and etc. from Bollywood Movies so... and fun fact that no one knew the real name of Mithun Chakraborty (and maybe some don't know to this day) and they all were calling him "Jimmy" - like in the movie 😆

Another Comedian who might be good for you to react to: Russell Peters. He's a Canadian-Indian, child of two half-English Indians who immigrated to Canada in... the 1970s, I believe. He's actually from a city a short drive from mine. He's been quite successful.
