This chapter is an example of "test your game before you publish it". Yarnaby sometimes did not even spawn, the plugs kept getting glitchy so much that you had to restart checkpoint, there was a place where you could see the game map and changing graphics settings caused the game to crash. There are other things btw, I just cannot remember them.

So... The Playtime factory used kids and experimented on them to turn them into the toys. Doey is a combination of three kids; Matthew, Kevin, and Jackie. We don't know who Poppy, Kissy, or Huggy is. It is assumed by a theory that Riley is Kissy. It is also assumed by a theory that Poppy is Ludwig's daughter who died and he wanted to bring her back to life. Ollie was a real person, but the prototype can mimic people, so the Ollie we're talking to is the prototype. There is a lotttt of other stuff, but that is the main gist of it.

They did Yarnaby so, SO wrong. There are no in-betweens. In his section, either he never shows up, or, on the contrary, he is a frustrating omnipresent enemy that manifests with no logic whatsoever. Plus, in the very first close-up scene, his fur is really, REALLY bad. Plus, he keeps just being too cute and clean to result even a little intimidating, even with his weird bite; he sounds like a purple minion.

Fun fact: At the moment, mob has pushed out 3 updates, all mostly deticated to fixing yarnaby bugs. However, yarnaby is STILL buggy (i.e. yarnaby still gets stuck in walls, is able to teleport, can catch the player from absurd distances, can catch the player from supposedly "safe" hidding spots, still spawn camps, among many other issues) Yarnaby is a broken mess lol. And Yarnaby (and by extension boss doey) are much more complex monsters than her. It's not that they Fu Ked up the AI or they didn't test it. It's Yarnaby being so complex he causes unforseen problems

I just want to state that Astralspiff also went out of bounds a different way (on purpose), and he sequence broke the game on accident. I asked him if this is was the most buggy launch patch of a poppy game and he was like "no lol" (spoiler for spiff's vod and vid below) For anyone curious, it was when Yarnaby pulls open the big metal door that you go through later. He found out there's a brief window you can walk through the door without being killed and then get locked in the unloaded area.

it seems that way but it actually isnt, it also isnt betrayal. if you look at the tapes and notes you can find that Doey is 3 people combined, a guy who when overwhelmed goes to violence and blaming, a kid who was on a tour and just wants to go home, and the one we most of the time who is just a nice person. the nice person usually keeps control but because of that sudden shock the violent one took over with the kid who wants to go home acasonaly speaking, also another thing hinting towards this is how he has 3 different colored hand shapes on his stomach

TBH if you were doing this before they patched it, you did yourself a service in not reloading to fix Yarnaby. HE was pretty much a "Giga Yarnaby" and could jumpscare you through walls, the hiding places didn't work, he would only deaggro on a certain spot, etc.
