Its more the fact you can program a directional button and an attack input onto one button. Removing any chance for delay between your left and right hands. Turns perfect electrics childsplay as you can gaurantee df and 2 at the same time

Honestly I wish he would but the truth is kazuya is horrible for what a tournament character needs to be. His poking is rather weak compared to the rest of the cast with his best move being high and easily duckable. The only way he's even got a chance of survival in high level tournaments is to abuse his better-than-average 50-50 game. The only problem with that, however, is if they guess right, he's very punishable. Overall the only ppl you'll see play him at tournaments are loyalists like myself who're crazy enough to gamble it.

HecticWolf2000 or people like knee who use him as a counter pick to certain characters (bears, Jack, Marduk cuz he can launch them with fc df3+4 and rising sun is his wall combo on them which gives great oki as well, plus he can twin piston a lot of their key low pokes like bear db+2). But generally, yes, he’s not that tournament viable mostly due to his weak poking.

MidNight no its not like macro when the software does combos for you but it definitely breaks the game so they either ban it or start balancing the games around double input devices. Btw thats not gonna happen because games devs are too lazy so its gonna be a complete mess for the next year or two 😂

Honestly, the only thing they have to do is to force players to use only d-pad or left analog as directional inputs. In Tekken you can use both at the same time which is what allows cross-up to function.

Whether or not you need to practice isn't why people think it's OP. It's OP because it allows you to do things normal controllers can't do and things that were never intended. It also does make certain inputs (such as electrics) much more consistent. Even JDCR calls it a "cheating box" in this video because of how consistently he was able to use electrics to punish.

Were you watching the same video as I was? Because towards the end he hit df2 into pewgf and started laughing. He also punished one of Jins lows with a pewgf. Jdcr has been playing forever with a standard arcade stick and it doesn't look like it's taking him that long to adjust. I wish I could start casually hitting df2 pewgfs and pretend like me using my stick for a couple of hours in actual matches counts as "whole lot" of practice lol.
