The biggest issue in the world of innovation is the separation of creatives and engineers

My brother and I are now retired. Instead of going to the dump with our .22's to shoot Rats, we sit in the yards and shoot flies with our Bug-A-Salts.

I’m thinking of buying one they are worth it? How far do you Shoot from
@dr.detroit15143 жыл бұрын
@@anonymous2457 In my view, it's worth it, it's a practical toy. I tend to use it inside the house only. I can easily wipe out flies, mosquitoes, crawling smaller spiders, and these annoying little moths I get in the house. Optimal range for me is around 3-4 feet. Mine has the optional laser sight. Put the dot on the bug, take off the safety, pull the trigger, and Pow, it's gone, first time, every time. Not the most effective on larger bugs, such as horse flies, hornets, etc. Using the genuine Bug Salt seems to work best, it appears to be specific for the task.

Good for them! Got mine for my birthday today and sooo stoked!
@georgex95433 жыл бұрын
Impressed that mine has lasted so long. Really close up works. Beyond a few feet works. There seems to be a middle range though where the air arrives just before the salt with enough force to often trigger the fly to fly away in time to save itself.

Haha! I used gravel and tooth picks! On the big yellow grasshoppers in corn feild. Bet you have shot matches and toothpicks yourself. I love my 3.0.

I have the camo version of the bug a salt and I absolutely LOVE IT! I hated spraying the flies and mosquitoes with bug spray and the chemical smells it would leave behind. I've decimated all bugs in my home with this product.

I hope he makes a long range precision model in the future. 2 to 3 foot range is a tad short. 5 to 6 feet would be a dream but I understand that then, at the muzzle, it can be dangerous. A 3 to 4 foot long range precision version please!
