Lexie probably just felt alone since all her career, she's had her twin sister with her along the way. Losing that and probably feeling alone played a big part. Now that CC is there, she's found her BFF that her sister was. Crazy how just having someone there that you know will be there for you, amplifies your abilities. Glad to see it.

Caitlin Clark's an absolutely phenomenal athlete, the epitome of professionalism and class, is an excellent example of sincerity, kindness and grace!! She's a queen both on and off of the court!! Hearing how she's helped others, especially the children, and now also hearing how she's so generously helped her friend, Lexy Hull, doesn't surprise me a bit!! Caitlin Clark's an absolutely precious angel, and an excellent role model for future generations of youth,🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤!!

Just one more of Caitlin's amazing abilities that lifts other players up to their full potential. Lexi is now where she should be with her amazing basketball skills. The whole Fever team are exceptional players and it is in great part to Caitlin's abilities.

All it took for is that one pass and her one 3 point shoot for everybody to appreciate Lexie's greatness. Let's all admit it, we all know she can shoot but she wasn't given that much of an opportunity in the previous years to show case it. Now that she has CC, and CC trusting her to make the shot, we get to see it. We get to appreciate it.

It's easier to believe in yourself... when just one person believes in you. Many of us can go through life without ever experiencing someone else believing in us. HOOP REPORTS' theme, here, is what I've been saying since August. Before the break the one word I used to characterize Hull was 'timid'. She was a timid player. I liked her but she was pretty retiring on the court. After the break, I started to describe her as 'FIERCE'! Before the break, Caitlin was reluctant to pass to Hull. Even to the point where Clark would pretend not to see that Hull was wide open. I wonder if Hull could feel that??? If it was apparent to me then surely Hull could feel that something was wrong - - that Clark didn't have confidence in Hull to follow through and score on a pass. I've wondered ever since if Clark volunteered something constructive to Hull during the break or if Hull just pestered Clark for ideas during the break to the point that Clark said something to her. Knowing how Clark operates interpersonally, I'm thinking it was the _later_. Whatever happened during the break, Hull figured it out and came back from the break with a vengeance and a ferocity. Now, ...I couldn't imagine the FEVER without Lexie Hull. She and Caitlin don't have the same head-game that Clark and Boston have, but rather, I see Lexie following more in Mitchell's free-agent-on-the-court style. The difference is that Lexie can actually do more for the team defensively than Mitchell can. I see Lexie as striving to be the team's utility player, now. She's now, along with the team's MVP, Mitchell, exploiting the broken defense, that Clark and Boston are causing, which Mitchell and, now, Hull are capitalizing on. What a season, though. No less exciting for the marked improvement in Lexie Hull's value to the team!

Her talent is the truth, and it speaks for itself. some have that special gene & talent, some blossom in time,and others who may have to work harder to blossom, and here's my point, no matter the level of ones talent ,it steel must be worked on, and with that said, some bloom early and they just have that IT, but what what carries that special talent is the inner hunger to continue,and keep working and asking that all important question how can I get better, and also speak with those who have scaled to continue to progress and pushing as they grow and mature. Every now and then you'll come across that special one, no matter what they've achieved it isn't enough to just settle for that: Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Stepf Curry, Mike Jordan Dr. "J", and now Caitlin Clark. Real talent doesn't have a color! Larry Bird himself which quite a few people aren't aware of, and he stated this himself, that in his upbringing he played with mostly older Black players due to the proximity of where he grew up, He himself stated that most of this skill level came about when playing with the older black players that was in his neighborhood. So when it came to the NBA it came to him as NO surprize or big deal to him because of the black players that were in and around the neighborhood that he grew up in and he has stated himself that playing with the blacks is where he really appreciated and benefitted from his talents being sharpened and HE himself had not hesitating of speaking of how and where his game was shaped at! Where I was raised it was ALL about your ability to show your gaME, BASEBALL, BASKETBALL,FOOTBALL, TRACK, VOLLEYBALL, AND EVEN SOCCER. So what she's a white girl and I have NO problem with saying that! The question can, The girl can BALL! Beginning and end of question! So if she can, she's a winner and shes on my squad. Like the late great owner of the Oakland now L.A. Raiders Al Davis ALWAYS said, "just win baby". Good enough for Al Davis its good enough for ME and Caitlin Clark! Mr. Hop.... It ain't bragging when YOU can back it up!

I don't know anyone here other than CC. But when someone says "I put so much work in"; I have many questions [I know there's no real answers]. She had a superb support from her sister for one thing [taken away]. That is very important.... Support, and self-confidence are HUGE factors in any sport. CC seems to have a "next-level" of belief and UNDERSTANDING. That combo is vital. In my profession it was a game-changer for me.....realising that you have the basic ability, which you can then build upon! The combination of realising you have ability, and knowing you have to work hard to realise that potential is a foundation of a great career. This also needs the right coach(es) [especially as a young person with zero real experience], it will make ALL THE DIFFERENCE! Maybe CC gave her the confidence her sister gave her before. It's crazy to me that people think that anyone in a team is a stand-alone entity. I hope for the best with these players. 🙏💪

The coach of tge Fever had so much talent on the team,. she basically blew the beginning of the season.
@terenceboyd828113 күн бұрын
I am going to use an old team building term: Synergy. Caitlin did not save Lexi's career. By some chance of fate (not management), this team came together, with mostly the right mix of players and skill. Many teams are one or two personnel from being complete. As good as Clark is, she may not have had the season she displayed, if selected by the wrong team. I give a lot of credit to the players, like Hull and Boston, who came from championship programs and who embraced a talented, but quirky, rookie. You can feel the comradery of these women, from the more experienced, like Mitchell and Wheeler, to the less experienced Clark and Boston, and everyone in between. We may never know the true temperature of the Fever locker room, under Sides, but the players were laying the groundwork for a great late season run, that had us all on the edge of our seats. Sure, Clark and Hull appear to be good friends off the court, but there is an equally powerful Clark, Boston, and Mitchell relationship on the court as well.

As someone following the NBA for 30 years now, I always thought WNBA is an amateur organisation, I saw a few games every now and then and it was just boring, until I saw Caitllin play... She is freaking amazing, the moves, the shots, passes, you name it... I then saw tons of older ladies who I never heard (apparantaly WNBA legends) complaining about her having too much attention!? So instead of teaming up with Caitlin, celebrating the viewership quadrople and everything she has done for the WNBA in her first year, they all go petty (as Sir Charles said)... Why?! You finally get some exposure and you hate the person who made it happen?! Beyond stupid! No wonder when Fever lost in the POs the WNBA viewerwship just died.
