Anyone else has frizzy hair on top of the head but underneath the hair is healthy? Anyone knows why is that? Im so temped to cut my hair off because its so ugly because of this. I think it might be because i always wear ponytails cause of work.

Yes, it could be, because that part of your hair is the most exposed or prone to damaged that's why you are experiencing frizz in that area. Yes, certain hairstyles an indeed cause it too. Try apply leave in conditioner/oils in that area or even try braids instead of putting your hair in a ponytail.

I have the issue. My hair only get fizzy on top of my hair. . Even if I put leave in conditioner it still the same. Maybe because I have wavy hair

@@birutec8725 I managed to resolve this issue. I started washing my hair differently. I used to bend over and would wash my hair over the bathtub. But now I wash my hair standing in the shower. I apply conditioner standing up as well. And I think that's what worked for me. I did this change because I had a feeling that while bent over the conditioner wasn't getting to the places I wanted it to go. Which was the dry places on top of my head/middle of the head where my hair tie normally sits. After I'm done showering I also put aloe vera all over my head and after all of this the improvement was instant. No more of that horrible frizz. My hair looks smooth and tamed like it used to be years ago. I don't know if this was because of the conditioner or the aloe vera but it worked. I haven't been using aloe vera before this. I will try this without the aloe vera next time and see what happens. things I currently use (I have straight hair btw): shampoo, conditioner focusing on those dry places, aloe vera, hair oil. I will get a hair mask as well. I don't use regular towel anymore. I use one of those microfiber towels and that helps with the frizz a lot. I started wearing a braid throughout the day and night. No ponytails and buns for me :D

There are so any possible causes. It could be hormonal imbalance or changes, it could be either chemical damaged too. If you are using heat tools on your hair all the time or even sometimes styling your hair or certain hairstyles can cause this as well. It could also be in the products that you are using on your hair too. Or simply they are new growth of hair.
