The fashion industry is more international, interconnected and interdependent than ever before. But in spite of the many digital and technological advances now bringing the world closer, some fashion brands are still constrained by geography, seasonality or other idiosyncrasies in their home market. It is not always a level playing field for fashion brands from outlying regions like the Southern Hemisphere but some challenges can be turned into a competitive advantage. I'm just wondering how many black people are in this hall ?? and what are the chances of a middle class Arab African man living in Egypt to '' show up '' and spread his ideas and brand !! something is missing like there must be a global office or something for receiving creative ideas from around the world and finding financial help for those ideas ! but at last let me just say that I think BOF is the best new thing ever happened in fashion and thank you for these insightful inspirational videos 👍👍

fashion world should delibrate when how why did wearing black became an accepeted dress code for formal events such as these...parties etc.......also a funny thing is black formals for the gentlemen at both mourning n celebrations like weddings.....(though a small number go for colour at weddings n celebrations).......n strictly white for the bride...????( antseptic look similar to medical places.....????)
