DFQ: why don't overpaid QBs take less money to help assemble a winning team? Dak Prescott for example. If all players want to do is win, why not take less money to assemble a better team? Dak is getting paid $60M to take L's. If he took 40m, he would still be well off financially, and could get 2 other impact players for 10M a year.... That's why Tom Brady did, but it seems no one else wants to do this.

Jets don't need a coach, they need an O-LINE. People act like Rodgers WANTS TO THROW THE BALL in 1 second every time. He is doing that because they can't maintain a decent pocket. Prior to last game, Breece Hall, a talented RB, was averaging 3 yards a carry.

Why don’t we ever see a new head coach brought in during the season? For example, we all know Dallas is going to hire Bill Belichick in January. Why not just make the move now? You could keep the coordinators in place to keep terminology, but allow the culture and gameplanning to change now. It would give the team a headstart in 2025

So there is a chance the Browns can bail on Watson with a post June 1 cut. They’d have to trade several of their top 5 contracts, then split the cap hit between 25 and 26. Unfortunately it would mean losing Garrett, but they’re going into rebuild territory anyways.

To solve the Browns problem and help the Vikings win the Super Bowl is this. Do a 2 year re build and let Watson complete his contract. Gather draft year 25 and 26. Go on a youth kick and trade older great players like Kyle's Garrett to a Super Bowl contender like the Vikings for a 26 1st and fifth. As you keep playing Watson, he is going to stink and get a plethora of first and second round picks a d when Watsons contract expires in 26, Cleveland would stand a great chance of drafting Arch Manning. That's how you help the Browns and give the Vikings a chance to win a Super Bowl THIS YEAR. SKOL!!!
