I’m so thankful for this content. The format feels genuine and respectful. Growing up biracial with parents who couldn’t do my hair felt like hell. I finally feel confident doing it with out paying over $100 to a stylist every time I needed help…. I’ve lost career opportunities many times because my hair was considered unprofessional (even after being styled 😅) and it used to sadden me. Taking an hour or more to work with my hair, and then having to monthly pay for expensive hair products just to walk in society sucks some days but I feel thankful to finally have come to a place of peace. Although commercials feature Afros and different textures more liberally, there are still social connotations that need to be worked on. Thanks again from Seattle for continuing! Love to see the younger generations being embraced so lovingly ❤

@bijouruby1075 Yes. And she's actually *5 years old* (for those of us in the West and other places). Koreans (as do some other countries) add an extra year to their ages. At birth, they count it as 1 year old and not as 0, like we do.

Yeah, my bestie has to cut out like six hours to get her hair braided with extensions, and when she was 3 and 4 her big sisters would braid her hair and deck it out with cute beads, and that also took hours. She has always been a patient person, so it wasn't too hard on her, but it must be so tough for an energetic kid to sit still for ages😭😭😭

I really love it when people share curly hairstyling, for both kids and adults because I can learn and try different hairstyles. I’m blasian and it’s not easy for me to style my hair myself except for ponytail. My mom is the master of my hair back when I was young🤭Now she just helps with cutting so that my hair can stay untangle and healthy. This cute girl is so sweet and pretty. Thanks Rianna for the tips and hairstyles👏🏼💛

This is so cute! Just seeing the dad try his best, just attempting is nice to watch. It becomes a great bonding time with your child. As a kid my older sister always did my hair because both of my parents worked. I never had these type of memories with my parents, not even my mom. It makes me a little regretful.
