Yuvraj Singh I did Inner Engineering in 2013 and have done all the programs since then, I’ve been practicing the shambhavi mahamudra kriya daily (missing it rarely) and all I can say is its enhanced my life in every way! It helped me gain relief from my allergies to pollen, my immune system strengthened and I almost never get sick anymore. My focus has sharpened and I’m able to get my work done much more efficiently. I have so much energy that I don’t need to take naps anymore either. Above all - the external situations in my life don’t determine my inner peace and joy as they used to, as I continue my practice I feel more and more of my life is in my hands. Strongly recommend you give it a shot and try it yourself 🙏😊

I hope you don't mind if I ask what you smoked and how much roughly? The problem with any addiction is it's a vice that people enjoy to some degree or at least did initially. I personally think that "almost" all vices should be looked at very much the same way. Take a long enough break to get your body, heart and mind back to health. You'll see that you come to enjoy clarity and in many ways feel recharged/reborn, then get to a place where your strong enough accept it for what it is, you might find that your never able to go back to it for various reasons. But there is a lot to be said for the enjoyment, stress relief, feelings that various "vices" can help with. The problem is it's very easy for the odd ritual to become habitual. Obviously a lot easier said than done especially when it comes to certain highly addictive ones, although they say sugar is considerably more addictive than cocaine and certainly not healthy for us. Guess any additive in life can become toxic when abused or one becomes dependent on

Its all about how mentally strong you are. If your mind says you can then definately it will stimulate you to do. I was smoking 2 packets of cigaratte a day during 2016-2017 and prior to that 1 packet of cigaratte in a day. Suddenly oneday My mind says you have to give up then next day onwards i have not touched any cigaratte till date. Conclusion is that try to know the art of regulating your own mind. If you look for any solution or try to give up means you can never give up. Give up means give up there should not be any hesitant or fluctuation of mind.

Yesterday was my 100th day since quitting cold turkey. I managed to do it by telling myself I will just have one later. But Yesterday, we celebrated with nice dinner, and making a big deal about the days like this seems like it will make it impossible for me to go back to smoking, the sense of accomplishment so that there is actually something there not worth throwing away. And I went and socialized with friends who smoke, the place i used to chainsmoke, and kept strong. I came home, and I couldn't even bring my jacket into the house because of the stink! Doesn't smell good to me anymore, tastes gross, expensive,... you know all the reasons it is STUPID! The cigarettes really did make me "low" I would have to lay down 10 minutes after feeling like crap! Then your subconscious begins to question you, asking you why your destroying yourself!?

Seriously guys. I quit all addictions like smoking and drinking coffee or tea or any nerve stimulants! And now I can see clearly. There’s a high when you can see better, feel better, taste better. There is tremendous high 😊

I have been a father for nearly 3 years now and a husband of 7 while I have been smoking for over 10 years. I am very aware I am stealing time away from them when I choose to go off and have a cigerette which takes away life from me and time away from them when my top5 most important aspects of life is health(mind, body, spirit), fatherhood , being a good husband , friendships & career. I need to stop lowering my quality of life. Thank you Sadhguru for your wisdom and knowledge.

I quit a year ago after a big battle against nicotine addiction for 15 years , i actually tried to stop before for 3 months but went back to nicotine, now im 1 year smoke free, what really convinced me to stop nicotine in all its forms is the fact that a non smokers mood is better then a smoker even while the smoker is smoking his cig and getting that buzz a non smoker is still feeling better unbelievable right?! I thought it was a joke and i said to myself let me quit smoking and find out and i can tell you this, me quitting nicotine is the best thing i ever did in my life i feel free i breath air instead of chemicals and smoke i feel very confident and my mood is very good dont get irritated or sad or angry quickly like when i was a nicotine addict, its amazing feeling i know you can do it just convince your mind and brain that nicotine brings stress and then traps you in a nicotine withdrawal stress your whole life if you dont quit

Through listening to and watching Prof Sadhguru talk, I am able to identify that a majority of us do things not aware of the reasons around that. But I am glad that he is able to bring light to us, instead of judging, he offers a way for reasoning and putting one in a spot for reflection.

Same here , with the tea. Trying not to have more than 2 cups a day. At least 5-6 hours a part .. I’m on day 22 of not smoking ! It’s definitely a high on life .. dry nose and dry throat sometimes , but I’m reaching for water bottles more than the smokes . It feels great mentally ! Physically can’t wait to rid my body if it all! Sweating hands and feet are definitely here tho
