This addition to the bathroom will be part of our house now for the next 100 years! I still cant believe how far this bathroom renovation has come from soooo dark and outdated and not function to this dreamy simple space.

I haven’t finished watching yet, but I wanted to tell you that I like that when you open the bathroom door, the toilet is hidden just in case someone get’s accidentally walked in on. Silly, I know but I would love that in my bathroom! This bathroom has been quite a journey. But you giving every inch of it love has made all the difference in the world! ❤

Of all the bathroom renovations I have watched, this bathroom is my absolute favorite! From the beautiful colors, to the gorgeous and practical floors, to the perfect vanity, the pretty mirror, the amazing homemade touches with Phil's bench and Dayton's stool, the rich carpet, and all of the perfect details ...yes, my favorite!!! It looks grand for an historic victorian home, yet it is warm and cozy at the same time. I can already tell that I will rewatch this reno playlist many, many times! 💚☮️✨

Love the bathroom, great job! Bet you could use modeling clay to shape a gap filler, even working a design into it. Then make a mold of the clay pieces to make plaster of paris inserts. You should be able to carve and sand on these to make them fit, then paint with you gold paint!

Your bathroom reno has been a stroke of genius with every detail. You teach us all a vital lesson when you realize that something isn't working or looking like you expected, and do an about turn and tackle it again to fix it, like you did with the height of the curtain rod. Your buffet turned into a vanity is absolutely gorgeous and the sink you chose is perfect. It didn't happen overnight, but taking the time to really think about how you want to live in your home and what is required to get it there is always worth it, as you've so clearly demonstrated. Kudos to your entire family for the hard work and vision!

SUGGESTION- A wood shelf with hooks to match the bench… dual purpose… the shelf holds the hooks for towels and the top for decor!

I realize they may not be as aesthetically pleasing but I’ve found plastic shower curtain rings don’t scrape up the finish on my metal shower rod as badly as the metal hooks do.

Those towel hooks look like you could put a narrow plank across them and create a small shelf but still have enough room to use both hooks. Since the feet are getting lost color wise, you may consider painting the ball with the same marine paint, might give it more depth and dimension tonality speaking
