I agree and nowhere in the Bible have I ever read of anyone being told to pray a sinners prayer. Jesus HIMSELF never told anyone to pray a sinners prayer, he didn't tell the thief on the cross to pray, didn't tell the rich young ruler who came to him to pray, nor did he tell Nicodemus when he came to him or any of the others of these people that they needed to pray a sinners prayer. Paul never told anyone they had to pray a sinners prayer. What did he say to the jailor who asked, "Sirs, what must I do to get saved?" He certainly didn't tell him to pray, nor lead him in any kind of prayer. Day of Pentecost when more than 3,000 souls were saved, they were not instructed to pray a sinners prayer. All they did was to believe on the Lord Jesus. There is concern that some people "say they believe in Jesus, …say they have accepted Jesus, …say that they have received Jesus, but they are not saved and will not enter the kingdom of heaven".This so-called sinners prayer can lead to people who thought they were saved because they prayed a certain prayer, but they lacked a biblical understanding of salvation and were, in reality, not saved. The clear teaching of the New Testament is that it is faith and faith alone that saves. At least sixty times the New Testament states that salvation is received by faith.

I believe Salvation is by Grace through faith and not works. But faith without works is Dead Meaning you prove your faith by Bearing fruit Repenting Living a way that pleases God but still Believing on Jesus alone for salvation As for reading The bible I believe if one wants to Grow in his or her walk with Jesus I believe one should always stay in the word and pray and ask the holy spirit for Guidance Application Revelation and Knowledge and to Open your spiritual Eyes and Ears to what God is saying

Yea, but there must be understanding what we believe Him for and who is Jesus. Believing any Jesus won't save anyone. Muslim jesus is not saving, its different Jesus. *[[Luk **8:12**]] KJV* Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. *[[Mat **13:19**]] KJV* When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. We must understand what is the gift.

There are many things that each Believer needs to do. The thief on the cross had no time. Beware of the time you have. Faith is just the beginning, then then believe! Then repent! Then Study! Then Trust! Then Obedience! Then Baptism! Study to show yourself approved by God, not man.

Salvation is simple! We are saved by believing the Gospel. The Gospel means “Good News.” The Bible defines the “Gospel” as Christ's death on the cross for our sins, His burial, and His bodily resurrection 3 days later. The Gospel is the good news that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, Who lived a sinless life and went to the cross to be crucified, Who shed His blood and died for our sins. All you need to do to be saved is to BELIEVE the Gospel, that's it. To “believe” simply means to rely upon. If you will right this moment receive Christ's sacrifice upon the cross as full-payment for your sins, you will immediately be born-again by God's Holy Spirit. We are regenerated by the indwelling Holy Spirit of God, this very moment that we acknowledge our sinnership and believe the Gospel.

1 John 2:3-6King James Version (KJV) 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. Revelation 22:14King James Version (KJV)14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Revelation 20:4King James Version (KJV)4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Revelation 11:15King James Version (KJV) 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 5:10King James Version (KJV) 10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Zechariah 14:4King James Version (KJV) 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. THESE ARE SOME FEW SCRIPTURES I READ IN MY BIBLE THAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD WILL SET ON THIS EARTH AND WILL REIGN FOR THOUSAND YEARS BUT NOT IN HEAVEN!! TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT THESE GUYS ARE SAYING!!

Every person who says that he or she is a Christian shouild redeem the time and STUDY the Scriptures. Otherwisw they have no option than to believe every doctrine that comes like this. Where on earth Elohim promised heaven for Man? The heaven and the highesst heavens belong to the LORD. But the Earth He has given it to the sons of men. Psalm 115: 16 Elohim has already planned that His Kingdom will be set up on EARTH. Yeshua will be KIng and He will rule with His saints who lived FOR Him from JERUSALEM. If Elohim takes His people to heaven then ALL HIS PLANS are shattered. Man who was given rulership to manage the earth must REGAIN his position. This is the plan of Elohim. Thas why JERUSALEM is in an UPROAR until today!!!

How confusing can you be to people. Either salvation is by faith where you will be judged according to Christ's finished work on the cross or you will be judged according to your own works will surely lead you into eternal separation from God. When Christ told the Jews to repent while preaching the Kingdom, He was telling them to repent, greek work metanoya which means to change your mind. The Jews, being religious were depending on the fact they were not only Jews but religious Jews. They needed to change their mind from trusting in the things that could not save them to the only thing that could, ie; faith alone in the Redeemer. To tell people they must trust in Christ but then tell them to repent and turn to God and give your life to Him for salvation are works. Salvation is only through placing ones faith alone in the FINISHED work of Jesus Christ on the cross for the remission / forgiveness of ones sins. Nothing else.

So, are you convinced that one minute after you die you'll (hopefully) be in heaven and meeting Jesus? Are you aware that the apostle Paul taught we'll meet Jesus _after_ we have been resurrected, and that we won't be resurrected until Jesus returns? Consider for yourself what Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17: "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." That's right. Paul did not teach we go to heaven when we die. We wait in the grave for our resurrection at Jesus' return, then we meet Jesus. A few will immediately say "Hey, wait, didn't Paul say (re: Phil 1:23) he'd prefer to 'depart, and be with Christ'"? Yes, he did say that. But if you think Paul thought he'd meet Christ _when he died,_ then Paul must have made a mistake about meeting Christ after our resurrection at Jesus' return. The _assumption_ that Paul thought he'd meet Jesus _when he died_ is the problem. Paul knew, from the Bible, that when we die our "thoughts perish." Psalm 146:4 describes death: "His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish." We go _to the grave_ when we die and our "thoughts perish" - our consciousness stops. We remain in the grave until we are resurrected. While in the grave we have no consciousness and do not experience the passage of time. When the elect are resurrected at Jesus' return (as Paul described in 1 Cor 15:50-54 and 1 Thess 4:13-17) their consciousness returns and _then_ they meet Christ. It will _seem to them_ like no time had passed since their last conscious moment at death. After departing in death, the next thing Paul would know would be that he had been resurrected and was meeting Christ. That's what Paul was referring to when he wrote "For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better" (Phil 1:23). Paul did not believe we go to heaven and meet Christ when we die. No, Paul himself clearly taught that we remain in the grave, "asleep in Jesus," until resurrected, and will meet Christ after we are resurrected: "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17) Jesus said "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven" (John 3:13). That's right. Abraham, Moses, David, Elijah and the prophets have not gone to heaven. Peter even confirmed David was still in the tomb when he said "Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day . . . For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy footstool" (Acts 2:29,34,35). They're all still in the grave, waiting for their resurrection at Jesus' return. Will you go to heaven when you die? No: you'll wait, in the grave, for your resurrection. If you're in the "first resurrection" - the resurrection at Jesus' return - you'll "meet the Lord in the air." Otherwise you'll be resurrected in a later resurrection, when "all the rest of the dead" (Revelation 20:5) are raised for judgment. Jesus described that later resurrection: "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." (John 5:28,29) Perhaps you noticed those in the first resurrection "meet the Lord in the air." Paul did not say they meet the Lord in heaven. Where will they be, and what will they do? "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years." (Revelation 20:6) Yes, they will be right here on earth with Jesus, as He makes the Kingdom of God a reality right here on earth. *They'll have a much more useful and meaningful future than some sort of eternal vacation off in heaven.* The prophet Isaiah wrote about Jesus: "And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." (Isaiah 2:4)

The Bible Says you have completely twisted scripture to say what you want it to say. That is called eisogesus. He said David hadn't ascended to heaven because Jesus hadn't died yet and taken the saints who where in Abraham's bosom to heaven. Old Testament saints did not have the righteousness of God to go to heaven. That righteous didn't exist until Jesus gave his life at Calvary. We go to heaven because we have Jesus's righteousness imputed to us when we believe the gospel. What Paul was talking about was the rapture. You need to seriously pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand the Bible and he will reveal these things to you..
