1. Maintain consistent enthusiasm and keep up to date with industry trends 2. Aim for knowledge/technical proficiency of someone one year ahead of you 3. Save seniors time by underpromising and overdelivering to a high standard to impress people and keep getting work Expand your network to have more sources of work 4. Consider your reputable - you want to be reliable (for people to give work to). Find someone above you who carries themself well who you aspire to be like (a role model) and emulate their best characteristics. Inspire confidence from your seniors. 5. Key competencies for a graduate = attention to detail, communication, analytical skills

Hi Afzal. I saw in a video of yours that you went into sales in AM because you preferred to work with clients and didn't enjoy the technical side as much. I am similar to you in this regard, and I wanted to ask why you decided to go into a sales role in AM as opposed to a sales role in sales and trading? Thanks!
