How Can You Tell If Your Pomeranian Is a Purebred Dog?

Unless your breeder provided Kennel Club registration papers, it is not always easy to tell if your dog is a purebred Pomeranian. The best way to know for sure is by looking at the dog's official pedigree or doing DNA genetic testing if the correct paperwork is unavailable.

This exact thing happened to me too, I saved my boy from being hit on the highway. Couldn't believe it.. no answer to ads and no chip.. after months he's mine now.

Omg i missed the last bus and had to walk from Glendale California to burbank California and i rescue my female pomeranian at 11:30 pm on December 7 ,2023 . She was confused and running in the middle of glenoaks blvd , my dog almost got ran over by 5 cars , 1 missed her by inches, i spring into action 😢 and walk 🚶‍♂️ home with her in my arms for 7 miles it was 39vdegrees cold that night, nobody posted missing dog , so i kept her and named her ,Gi Gi ... she and me have an inseparable bond ❤ @michelleschleve4202

@@MrRicky175 he had stayed in the police department over a couple of weeks after being taken from the park nearby . A police came over to us asking us if it was our dog and we said “no” . He told us that we could choose to have it after 12 that midnight if no one came to claim it or he would be sent to the animal shelter at which time the policy of stray dogs gas killing was still there.

I have an American Eskimo (without papers) that is very small and looks very similar to a Pomeranian. I am considering having a DNA test conducted just to see if she is actually an American Eskimo as advertised. Either way, Bella is the best doggy we ever had.
