dzastafahrai Sike. It’s 1000x more capable then any other 2000$ bike. It’s also not a 2000$ bike. No matter the cost, no matter the brand, its all about geometry and leverage ratios. That’s why all bikes r not equal. U can have bikes with equal travel that r built for the same thing (enduro), and they will excel in different areas. The specialized enduro is known for being so stable at high speeds and being very predictable which in turn gives most riders the confidence to full send whatever is at the height of there skill level. Saying its as capable as any other 2k bike is a bit naive

Look what racers ride in EWS, there is various other bike brands taking podiums, if spesh would have 1000x better bike the everybody will be riding it. BTW, saw some enduro riders where choosing Enduro ;)

dzastafahrai other bike brands that cost well over $2000. Most of those riders r riding 10k builds. I’m not saying specialized is ‘the best’, but it is one of the best. There’s a reason its the most popular bike in bike parks in 2020, its because its one of the most effective. Obviously 1000x is a relative number used to illustrate differences between cheap bike and bikes that excel in specific fields. Companies like specialized have put the R&D into developing something that would out perform mostly everything and set a new benchmark for what a enduro bike could be. I work in a bike shop and see all kinds of bikes from all categories and price ranges. U aren’t going to see people winning EWS races on a diamondback. If you give the best racer a crappy bike, he will still be fast. Then you have someone who is not quite as talented but is equipped with top of the line products, that person will win every time simply because the bike that the better racer is riding can’t hold up to/ can’t compete with the capability of the other pair. Bike quality goes a long way into getting that confidence inspiring run that can allow u to push the limits. Your bike is key. If u could drive a Toyota or a Porsche in a race, what would u choose? What would give u the best shot at winning? Probably not the Toyota. Same deal with bikes. High quality bikes have had years of research and huge teams designed to test and push those limits. Cheap bikes r just that, cheap.
