Personally, I've never cared much for the word 'sorry', if you are sorry, your acts will show it. If you're not, it's just an empty word. Same for cats. They don't really feel sorry, but they always want to make things right with you. If they understand that a certain act makes you unhappy, they'll only do it when you're not around lol

I can't argue the claims of an expert but I listened to same with a large dollop of cynicism. For example, I've never accepted the assertion that when the thing rubs against you it's a sign of affection. Huh! My late mother diismissed the notion by opining 'It's just cupboard love' meaning it knew who its meal ticket was so better cosy up. I've never understood why so many folk go gaga over moggies. A creature that spends an average of sixteen hours a day sleeping is not my définition of companionship, no siree. Going back to cat owners' comments on sites like this one, there appear o be a tsunami swamp of sad, sad cattiers who feel utterly compelled to try to grab our attention simply because Tiddles arched it's back, in the hope presumably that such 'news' will cause the earth to cease spinning on its axis. The American "Sweeties' World" video‐maker sinks to the level of a sluicegate in her particularly puke‐inducing offerings; her followers have me screaming when I read responsive phrases like "precious,", "fur baby" and ''angelface''. Yuckkkkkkk!
