Thx guys! Love your content. Agree 100% with this. I’ve been playing with 8 clubs for many years and 80% of my range work is hitting “shots”. Gonna have to borrow some of that to incorporate the ribs forward and rotation system. Makes so much sense. I love the process and am excited to work toward the next level of ball striking.

Excellent! The different thoughts we all have at some point in our practice, great teaching. Thanks. I'm 66 with 2 artificial hips and I don't have the distance I once had, but I am striking it now. You guys and Milo have helped me get back to where I was back in the 1980s. I am hitting my 7 iron, today, very close to what I was hitting my 5 iron just a couple months ago, I am getting golf strong. You guys are "the" elite and best. Thank you.

Love the content and really like the swing theories you guys teach. I’d really appreciate some additional breakdown regarding shallowing with the lead shoulder high. I can see it in many pro swings as most are not inside to inside rather fairly steep in approach yet the club drops inside as it passes the hands. I am getting more consistent at it but still struggle to understand the approach factors that make shallowing this way possible without causing other issues. Thanks again for all the great vids!

Nice work gentlemen. Feels are one of those abstracts things, but you know when you find it. Things maybe worth considering. Find the Spiral Line within you that ties your center to the Motion. Ride the Wave that sends energy out to the ball. Once I pressure the ground I ride the wave that is being drawn back up. TJs first strike was heavy as he said because he was on his back foot. You both have played around with the Flared Left Heel as the base of the Left Back Chain Spiral. This Motion Draws your Center Forward in order to Flush your Strike. Myself, I prefer Motion over movement, Pressure over weighting and Containment over waist. Clearly you guys are at the Top of the Learning Process!

Felt like you made this video for me 🫡 What difference (if any) would you guys make in objective and process, regarding a pre-game warm up where say you could only hit 20-30 balls in a short space of time before heading out for a round?
@elitegolfschools
@elitegolfschools 10 ай бұрын
No real difference, just don’t have as much time to play around and hit shots. Hit 5-10 balls in phase 1, 3-5 balls in phase 2, and then move to phase 3 if comfortable

Thank you for your great content, it has changed my perspectives on how to swing the club after 40 yrs of playing. A question on practice though; this seems to be an approach to practice when you are well familiar with the "system" and perform the movements you want reasonably well. When you learn this system, is there a preferred order you would like players to take on the movements (together with understanding the ideas)? Thanks again!

For sure, however, the learning never stops. Implementing a few key concepts or ideas that you want to improve upon will serve you very well on a day to day basis.

Oftentimes when my swing gets wonky it is because my feet alignment start to work their way closed to my intended target. Sometimes a shank is the outcome. But i can usually readjust now after years of dealing with it.

Great content, it’s nice to hear that even players with mastery need ways to get back on the rails within a session. I drift into hitting heel or toe shots (while stuck in phase 2)and have to back off and recalibrate. Is this common and are there any specific “back to phase 1” tactics if this happens?
@elitegolfschools
@elitegolfschools 9 ай бұрын
Very common! Everyone has their own go-to drills in phase 1, but probably the most universal help is a simple impact progression. (Chipping balls through the bottom to find center contact)

Today was a tough day for me , took a week off in hopes to go to the range today and turn it into a great day. Gotta say, it went exactly how you explained. Started great, changed clubs and started falling apart the more I tried- I can hit a driver great (which was a massive fail for me before) to now not being able to hit an iron. Thank you for telling me I’m human and how I should process a range or practice session. This will change my mindset and I will work slowly towards a proper system. I’ll review some videos on how to build my swing again and stay consistent - that’s my major issue. Great video guys, you’ve earned a new sub! ✊

I think what he is trying to say is - have one swing thought which is a movement - practice this a few times until comfortable ( 9 iron?) - practice this at 50, 75 and 100% Leave range once accomplised ? If so, it would make good sense as the mind to body axis is quite fluid and not cluttered with t 20 swing thoughts

Every subconsciously controlled, complex chain action is initiated by a single intention. Change any link within the chain and the intention has to change. One swing thought doesnt work the next time if we change any link within the chain action, the next time. As we trust our subconscious in order to drive our vehicles, we need to trust the proper, 'intention' for a repetitive DS. From top of BS to Impact is too short a time period(less than 1/4 second) for conscious control. It has to be a preprogrammed subconscious, complex chain action.
