Thank you so much for this video. I have been searching for some actual results. I have a water tank and I wanted to see if the water velocity remained constant would it have afftect on the flow of the outlet side of the pipeline if the pipe diameter is increased. My flow was low from rusting so I wanted to change the pipe diameter from 1/2 inch to 3/4 or 1 inch diameter. I am hoping now that the flow will improve when I change from 1/2 inch pipe rusted to PPRC pipe of 32mm which is internal diameter 22 mm at least. So, I think water flow will be much better now. 😊 Thank you and thank God because I was doubtful if it will be good

Hey Steve, I just bought a 2hp variable speed pump, my pool is about 25000 gallons with 2 inch pipe, what would be a good schedule to program the pump and save money, my pool is 2 years old and had a single speed 1.5hp pump, thanks

What is your thought on cya reducer. I tried it and it worked

When I tried it I got intermittent and unpredictable results and ultimately stopped using it. Dilution is the solution! Glad to hear it worked for you, I have heard plenty of stories from both sides of the fence on this stuff.

Hi Mr, Sinclair can you tell me what brand CYA REDUCER YOU USED 👍

What do you think would happen with a 3" supply and 2" return

Generally larger suction and smaller return pipes is a good idea. Not enough info here to tell ypu definitively what you should do, but 3" suction and multiple 2" returns would work.

Does changing the size of pipe at the intake from small size to a bigger size affects the pressure. Eg. Take water from a 36" pipe with an 8"pipe,then after a shot distance reduce the pipe to 5" then connect to an 8" pipe that serves an estate. Question: will the pressure decrease or will it increase?
